It looks like Ephesos will be the one wrapping this up.

Seoth won't sit by and let Sliros slaughter K.

After the big demon battle is over, I think we should start a new OOC before we push this one too far and it crashes like the IC did.

I did promise epheos that he could handle the rout of the demon army. I have to say right now he is the only one in the shape to do so.

I've got a whole army or in reserve, but I really don't care if they see any action(in fact, for plot purposes, the opposite could be better).

Epheos said he do it. I'm going to take him at his word.

Interesting double post, LF.

Anyway, I'll be more than happy to wrap this up, but don't expect much before Friday. I hate that I keep having to say this, but my job kills me and my creativity over and over again, in an oddly Promethean sort of way.

Some things I need to know: how much time has passed since Seoth left the tavern, what time of the day is it during the battle, and roughly how many creatures (demons, gods and humans alike) have perished when the battle is over.

Yeah, well my computers were having problems with this site(but not any others). It was kinda annoying.

I'd say a few hours.

I'd say it's daytime, but I didn't actually give it much thought.

Demon and human casualties are probably in the thousands. However, while James is dead, he didn't leave a body. Avin's still alive, if barely.

You left out "countless creations"()ut they aren't real people, so their deaths are meaningless) from the death toll.

I know for my stuff: "James's private army," which wasn't ready for any real combat is hiding away at the nearby fort, while Minoko's army of real people(not creations) is somewhere nearby waiting for the attack. And the army of creations(similar to those in Geneforge, but not Geneforge) was fighting both the demons and eachother.

More importantly, I honestly don't remember many real people(other than major characters) being in the area. Now, perhaps I'm mistaken, but I was under the impression that most of Kirkwood had been evacuated to protect the people from the inevitable demon assault.

Okay, so lots of death, few hours since Seoths departure, and time of the day is daybreak or early morning. And the creations *do* count, just that you know. So do demons.

You can expect me to make an IC post during today or tomorrow.

I apologize for the partially unnecessary length of my post. I had a lot to catch up. Hopefully, Marras's version of the events is acceptable to everyone.

I wanted to add a poem or two to the text, but couldn't come up with anything suitable. So, I resorted to second best option: searched my music library for a suitable song! I even managed to find the song from Youtube!

So... the Crows fly black...

...and theres room for lyrics, too!

EDIT: Hey, what do ya know, I also got a suitable post number for this one! Up the irons!

Oh, Frozen Feet, at last I have outdone you!

Eh, maybe not. But that's still a behemoth of an IC.

It's not about the longest. It's about doing decent ones.

On a sidenote: I felt I had to tack in a "What happened to James after the explosion" post before someone tried to consume his soul or something.

Also, consider James out of the game for a good while. If this RP lasts long enough, you might see him again. Y'all also see some other casting changes for the upcoming next story arc

I would've posted tonight, but I saw the new Die Hard movie tonight. And we don't want that clogging up the RP.

Just thought I'd let you know that, until some time passes for the other RP players, I will not be posting an IC. I don't want to mangle the time, since my next IC will probably involve a full day passing as well.

Just for fun, I picked songs for two of the newer characters. So, here you go:

Esekijah - Crimson Goddess (or whatever)

I have to admit I ran out of ideas with her. So, I picked a couple of obvious search words and ran them through, and picked the one that sounded nicest. The video is quite nice, too.

Also, I figured this would also fit here.

Vertran (ya know, da new demon wid da fancy sword) - Tarot: Pyre of Gods

There is no question about it! No other song is better than this! Just look at it!

Also, I'd like to remind Lenar and prem that this calm after the grand battle is a good time to come back with your characters. Please?
