If Zephyr Tempest keeps this up, he'll have Tyranicus beat in no time!

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

Diki, how could you let them kill you like that? You're in control!

When am I going to wake up and not be attracted to Aran? I mean, sure, it's funny, but there's more to my two-dimensional character than obsessiveness, isn't there?

No?

Well I for one enjoy being a two-dimensional character. No complaints here, Diki!

Loved the adbot scene. I wonder if this will be the start of a new invaison force.

I see you've been reading the Geneforge 4 posts about Turabi Gate. Finally a chance to start acid spraying rats. Pity that Avernum mages don't have the great attack spells of the Exile mages. I'd love to see the rats' reaction to shockwave.

I'm merely guessing here, but it might be something like "By Jove! That smarted a bit!"

Of course, that would make the rats English, and from the Victorian era, and thus impervious to everything but gout. That probably wouldn't be a good idea plotwise, though..

We're safe for now. I don't think adbots are programmed to swim.

Actually, that wasn't the thread that first inspired Dikiyoba. You'll see which one it was in Chapter 26.

I wonder why noone assaulted the gargantuan rat when it was stuck halfway through the door?

So that's why the forums shifted. Just kidding.

Can't wait for the fight to really take off, but it seems that there will a slight delay. Rats get to work their way through Geneforge 4 and all those pesky serviles.

I wonder when they'll go to the Exile Trilogy forum and let me put the smack-down on them. :D

For the first time in (at least) 2 years, I am changing icons. From my trademark cool symbol to a bright smiley. But just until January 2, 2007. :D

I need to set up some sort of recruiting system... of course, to get anyone, I'll have to lower the standards drastically. Sigh...

Either I haven't been paying attention or Diki's really been turning them out. I just read three long chapters worth. I'm glad I can swim. I hope everyone else can, too.

Well. I for one should have ran off already. I'm not a fighter. I wouldn't be one, even for you guys. Sorry, but that's it. Use illusions to hide, wait my time, or just plain leave until things calm down. I'm not your support.

Now forget I was ever there. :P

I like it. Just one question:

quote:
Nioca cast a healing spell on Alorael.
"I believe that was probably the gargantuan rat," Alorael said, "I need a curing spell too, Nioca. I was bitten by mung rats."
"Oh. Sorry." Nioca cast a curing spell on Alorael as well.
Nioca seems to have just Alo twice. Did Dikiyoba mean to say someone else the first time?

Well, Healing and Curing are different spells... I think I'm the only one who can cast Divine Restoration at the moment, so Nioca would have to cast both on Alorael to get him back to full strength.

Ack. *curse self*

How could I have made such a critical faux pas? My apologies, Dikiyoba. Clearly, I am wrong.
