Yes! Finally, Dikiyoba said it in plain enough words to salt the tiny seedling of hope in -X-'s soul!

This thread now has nothing to offer -X-. He deserts it.

Of course I have powers. But they are fearsome and deadly (even terrifying!) and I try not to indulge in using them too much less I destroy the boards utterly. Or just ruin them a lot. I do like these boards, somewhere, deep inside me...

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm a decent illusionist. Better in Finnish though.

Actually, this is the first time Diki has stated that -X- will not be in the script. Before, Diki just compared the odds of -X- being included to other incredibly unlikely occurances, gave facepalms, and quoted Arghhhhhhhhh.

Edit: What this means for you, Nikki, is that you had best hurry with the "following me" part, because once Riibu finds out, things will go rough. ;)

I may not be writing for some contest, but I do write all year round...

And blah. I think I'm just going to stop posting for a while.

In an attempt to steer this away from powerful moderated wererodents, when is the next chapter coming out?

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

It could be several more days. I don't have much of Chapter 14 written.

On the plus side, Dikiyoba has Chapter 15 mostly written so, in theory, it should be ready not long after Chapter 14.

Wow. This chapter was all about cutting it close. Tullegolar, Garrison and I were just in time to save Arancaytar. Tullegolar stepped in just in time to keep me from getting skewered. And Garrison was just in time to cure Arancaytar (which I would have done, except I was a little busy at the moment).

Good deal! Now I don't need to waste all that time reading the actual chapter. I'd completely forgotten about Cliff Notes.

You really should read it, though. There was a lot more going on then just close calls.

Now that I reread it, this is my favorite chapter thus far.

Yay. My successor can cast spells. Always good to know.

Since Dikiyoba said that Chapter 15 was already written, I wonder how long until Dikiyoba posts it.

I hereby declare that all newbs are fit for one purpose only.

And saying what that is would be in definite violation of the CoC...

I was beaten by some (definitely can't say that) newb?!

...

You'll all have your comeuppance.

Why don't just cry some more? My victory is inevitable. You should all surrender while you still have a chance.

By the way, Dikiyoba, I must say, you have me pegged. I couldn't have portrayed myself better... myself. Only I probably wouldn't have hit Nikki with the blunt side of my weapon...

Well, you were to busy plugging your lower gaps with the sharp side of the weapon!!

Edit: I am a bad, bad person.

Nikki: Watch the language.

I probably wouldn't say anything, but you know that the management has been fairly strict lately. It's been clean so far, but the last one looked pretty close. ;)

It's even better that I can cast combat spells.

The correct term for that is some newbs. You were outnumbered two-to-one.

And I guess that by that newb you mean me.

Aran: Terribly sorry old boy, but I'm increasingly bitter these days. I shall aim to be more subtle in my insults in future :P

As for the comeuppances, I meant you all :P Not you generally, Nioca.

It's true, every time Dikiyoba makes me look more awesome it only means that my eventual downfall will be that much more painful. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Also true in real life. All great evil leaders fall eventually, and the more powerful they are, the more humiliating their fall. Napoleon was powerful, but wound up exiled twice. Hitler had his whole Third Reich collapse before his eyes.

The only thing about Tullegolar is that, while his philosophy is brutal, bizarre, and twisted, he is not necessarily evil. Also, the desire to run the boards is not evil. Think about it, would you pass up the chance to call the shots? In my opinion, not many could honestly say no.

In my experience, it's not the goal that's evil, so much as the means employed to achieve it.

I am not evil! I merely wish to bring about a new age of peace and prosperity! Tullegolar knows best. Hmm, I also don't consider Napoleon evil... were you implying that he was? I think the goal of uniting the world under one rule is a noble one, and his means, old school tactical battles, were honorable as well. As for my means... well, I'm a the-end-justifies-the-means kind of guy anyway, so anything goes.
