Technetium. Since it sounds like technology, with which I happen to be fairly competent.

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

So you want to be radioactive, unstable, and synthetic? Okay, I guess.

And useful in the field of medical diagnostics! Don't forget that!

Unstable and synthetic pretty much describe my computer. Trying to get the thing to work was pretty much like trying to keep a cat from eating a mouse. You could keep the inevitable from happening for a short period of time, but before long, the mouse winds up dead.

EDIT: Waiting oh so anxiously for the next part...

It is used medical fields. My chemistry teacher went on and on about how he had Technetium injected into his body for x-rays or something. He was very proud of that.

Chapter 4: Many Returns

(Does anyone know if it's possible to link directly to a specific paragraph?)

Interestingly enough, Nioca picked technetium after Dikiyoba had chosen Nioca's role and had that section of Chapter 4 written.

In your HTML, use <A NAME="chapter4">whatever</A> around the chapter title, or some other piece of text you want to link to. Then, when linking use http://www.freewebs.com/dikiyora/part1.htm#chapter4 (or whatever name you gave it).

If you can't edit your HTML by hand, check your tool for ability to give names to pieces of text.

However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

Excellent! I actually have a role in the story!

Interesting isn't how I would describe it. 'Creepy' sums it up better. I like my role, though.

Well, at least you'll have some interesting company now. :D

Mh... Ermarian Network.

I'm trying to imagine how that place would look if it were a building...

Small on the outside, huge on the inside, with rows and rows and rows of books and papers and files. Plus one of the very first huge computers just for decoration.

Got through the list and there are 25 elements to update two of which were duplicates. I'll probably just make them anti-specified-element unless someone else has a better idea.

Question: Are not Kingy and GoldenKing one and the same?

They are most definitely not one and the same. Really, Goldenking is just (noun)-king at any given moment. He's also far newer than Kingy.

I sound and appear far too rational to be believable. You need to crazy it up a little bit.

Don't be fooled Salmon, Ephesos is not rational. He is just good at pretending he is. Kind of how Thuryl has everyone believing he is human.

Mullet is not human, and I don't think anyone is still fooled. Ephesos has gotten worse over the past six months, perhaps the crazies finally took over his brain?
