Blah Blah Blah Blah. Didn’t we have this exact conversation a couple of months ago? And a couple of months before that? It is pretty simple. If you’re here simply as Jeff’s customer who is interested in his games, you will most likely stay out of General and ask questions *regarding the games* in the games forums. You will most likely get your questions answered and move on. However, if you want to be a part of the community, participate in debates, surveys, etc. You will have to deal with the community. You can’t expect to come here and have things go your way. As many have pointed out, most newbies do not get flamed at all. And most of the ones who do get flamed (Nioca, Iffy, Magma, Nalyd, and myself) grow up a bit, stop spamming, and later on are thankful for the earlier treatment since it made them less embarrassed of their posts. So in the end, it works. It might not be the best system, but no one is making you be a part of it. Aren’t you in college? Why don’t you shut up, grow up, and leave the whining to kids. I use the "skipping through" approach. I have probably read a total of 5 Jeran/Nija/Whoever he is posts. And I must admit that it feels great. No frustration, no annoyance, no murdering feelings, it's awesome :) . You should all try it. I did the same thing with X. Speaking of, what ever happened to X? Newbies should be refused to change their PDN for at least their first 6 months in the boards. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

Thus, everything ends up being ironic to him. Quite funny, actually. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

quote:You remind me of the babe :P . Man, that movie sucked. It was plain terrible. Except for the puppy, and Ludo. Completely unrelated, but that same week (when I first watched Labyrinth) we decided to watch all three extended versions of LotR back to back. So much fun. Woo Hoo! We can make our own rant topics now? Awesome! I'd like to start by saying that three midterms in a day is like totally unfair. And like, how can I study for three test when I have assignments and homework to do? Not mentioning work! It's like totally uncool. Also, I don't think is right that all these people have like all this money and I have to pay student loans and like it sucks. Seriously, it sucks that you got hacked and kicked out of your "favorite forum". And it sucks even more that you can't do anything about it. But ranting won't help, and ranting here will help even less. So just go outside, watch a movie or something, hang out with your friends, remind yourself that the internet is not your life. It'll help :) [ Tuesday, February 19, 2008 08:04: Message edited by: M. ] Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

For some reason I keep getting static shocks while at work. Like all the damn time. I get so many shocks from the scanner that I literally fear touching it. I know it sounds childish, but after 20 it starts getting to you. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

1. What was the last song you listened to? *Checks ipod* Mathematical pi by Pubic Enema, apparently. 2. What was the last song / album you bought? I can't honestly remember. It's been a while since I actually paid for music. 3. What is your favorite song? At the time? Amigo by Rakim & Ken-Y. 4. What is your favorite record album? Too many to be able to narrow it down to one. 5. What song do you think has the best music? See above. 6. What song do you think has the best lyrics?Bruta, Ciega, Sordomuda by Shakira. That song is all kinds of awesome. If not, Estoy Aqui would do. 10. Is there any song that has ever just hit you like a brick? What was it, and why? In a bad way? That ketchup song. In a good way? Plenty. Immortal, In the end, and No all bring a ring. 11. What is that one song that you just can't stand? The bad brick from above. 12. What artist do you absolutely hate? Akon. 13. If a group of SpiderWebbers got together to start a band, who would be in it, and what genre would they perform? Rock. All the wild kids: Drakey, Kel, Nemesis, Alo, and perhaps Tyro 'cause he's in everything. Edit: Err... Numbers 7-9 seem to have disappeared. Oh well, class over. I'm out. He was quite good at it. Although I was a bit disturbed when I found out how much he enjoyed killing the Takers and stealing their stuff. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

I just finished reading I'll be seeing you by Mary H. Clark. I didn't think it'd like it, and some parts were too obvious. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

Let's see. Today was my day off. So I woke up late, showered and hung out in pjs. Then I called work, my best friend, and studied for my GMAT for a couple of hours. After that my friend came over with my gorgeous godson, we had some food and we watched all three SAW movies (we covered his eyes during the gross parts!). 1. On a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate a turkey dinner by mom/dad? Let's just say that the only thing I've ever saw my dad cook was mashed potatoes about 10 years ago. My aunt usually cooks for Thanksgiving, and I'll rate it 4.5. 2. Do you prefer cranberry sauce with turkey/other? I don't think I've ever had cranberry sauce. 3. Is pumpkin pie usually included? See above. 4. Do you eat the turkey neck or throw it at someone? Neither. 5. Is there anyone other than myself who absolutely adores turkey dressing? ....oookay. 6. Any little traditions out of the usual? Well we're not used to the traditional pies and mashed potatoes thing. Actually, the only thing that we have similar to Americans is the turkey. We don't do filling, or gravy, or pumpkin, etc. So it's turkey, bread, rice, salad, and pastelon. More or less. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

It actually sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I like the idea of having a different person doing them, but I don't really see it working. Most of us either are too busy, don't own a microphone, or just don't feel like doing it. Thus, the options will be limited. I don't know, I think Thad should be the person to do it. Or at least to start it, and if you feel like being next you could record it and talk to him about it. Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |
