Yes. I just sat down and felt more comfortable writing it this way, so I am.

Dikiyoba must admit that Dikiyoba used the script format for Episode 1 because it was easier for Dikiyoba to fudge the details Dikiyoba didn't know or understand that way.

So technically it's no longer a script, but a story. Which is awesome. :D

You know, if you hadn't started writing yet, I'd absolutely suggest you try to do Nanowrimo with this idea in a week. (Although technically, nobody stops you from entering anyway and using what little you've written so far...)

I had a pet garder snake when I was a kid. Of course, it was an outdoor pet and it ran away two days after I found it, but that was a fun two days.

It ran away? How can snakes run?

I think I know who that snake will come after first. It will either be me, Zeviz, or Andraste. Since we all visited the SubTerra forum recently...

EDIT: My keyboard has a massive grudge against the letter Z. Therefore, Zeviz came out as evi. :)

Very quickly. I know this from personal experience, and a very 'friendly' blue racer.

I was rather surprised to find part 3 complete... its announcement (or rather, lack thereof) was even more surprising.

Can't wait to see this. :D

-X- is saddened because he doubts that he is going to be in the story. -X- sighs. -X- begins crying. -X- begins wailing for Dikiyoba to please, please, please, please put him in the story. -X- is doubtful, though.

Actually, it would be interesting to see -X- in one of the next chapters. Even if he was just used as snake bait. But at any rate, he would add a new element to the story. Whether that's good or bad is yet to be seen.

By my reckoning, -X- has acrued enough 'personality' for inclusion in a DikiScript. -X- may not be pleased by the results, however. (Note to -X-: there's no special prize for getting 50 posts. I just think someone should inform you of this so you don't spend the next few weeks anxiously checking your mailbox like I did.)

I'm kind of curious how I'm going to screw up with the snakes. I do have an excuse this time when it fails: despite familiarity with mammals, birds, and amphibians, I really don't have much daily contact with reptiles. It's hard to find a snake where the four seasons are winter, winter, winter, and construction.

Another post, another DikiStat. This one attempts to determine the eloquence of each member by finding the average number of letters per word. It didn't quite work as expected: the Silent Assassin's one line of "Holy Flaming Reaperdisks!" in Episode I and the Ur-Noob's one line of "HAHAHAHAHA!" in Episode II kind of threw off the average.

It's always interesting to see how newbs and noobs alike are represented in the scripts/stories.

Oh, and Dintiradan? This looks like a typo in the DikiStats (oh, and DikiStat is a really awkward name):

quote:
Thuryl exits. The other four look around. Zorro picks up the stats that are lying next to Arancaytar. WKS and Erika Maroonmark walk to the other end of the forum, away from the carnage. Dolphin pauses to look at a large chart hanging on the wall. It looks like it got hit by a fireball, because it is badly charred. Still, she is able to make out what it says:
Total Words: 10
Total Letters: 52
Average Letters per Word: 5.2
I assume you just meant Thuryl. :P

Relax. Since I'm the most expendable of the group, it would probably me. Of course, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that none of us get killed. Especially me, since I don't have an element.

You should pick an element Nicoa. *consults Periodic Table* How about Astinate. You say your scripts are useless and Astinate basicly is. I wish I chose that one.
Acctually, neither of us have been in any of the stories before. We are both equally expendable.

Actually, I dropped the useless a little while ago. Besides, Elitenpc is far from useless. However, I think I'll choose Palladium, because it is a very bizarre element, like me. It also applies because my strength is mental, not physical. And also because I could stand to lose a few pounds.

And in case you're interested, you can find the script I mentioned at my site, via the link below.

Palladium is also use in Catalytic converters and dental crowns. That's an interesting combination.

Even the Ur-Noob was posthumously assigned an element, Nioca. You're not in any trouble.

Although, randomly killing people off does tend to get old very quickly.

The Silent Assassin disagrees with the latter statement.
I won't argue. He has a right to disagree.

Meh, I look forward to the day that I die in the story... as the stock healer, I can probably only be revived by my element.

Until then, I'm stuck making sure you lot stay alive. :P

I expect this will take more than a month to write. Besides, I don't really like worrying about deadlines and word count. (And I came pretty close to writing a complete and fairly lengthy story in September anyway.)

I already had the last post in this thread when I put Chapter 3 up. So I waited as long as possible in hopes that someone else would post, and then forgot to edit my post before I left for the night.

Ah! Ambushed and killed, and in my ideal environment, too (cold). That was rather disappointing. Oh well...

Other than that, it is still a good source of insanity/spam-based entertainment.

Something major I just noticed. In the previous stories, whenever a member died, Arancaytar would know about it immedietely. So wouldn't he know about Zephyr Tempest dying?

Very easy. Have you noticed how the Endeavor site is behaving lately?

http://endeavor.ermarian.net/member/1

Until that's fixed, I'm getting false positives from everyone, so I can't notice any specific deaths. :P

But I'm working on it as fast as possible.

--

On a "serious"(?) note: In episode 1, I'm noticing character deaths immediately because I magically do the stats in my head. Now that I'm back to using the computer, this effect probably stops.

But plot explanations like that are best left to Dikiyoba.
