Oh great. Someone else who thinks that dirty thoughts are sins. I expressed my views in that essay topic (I won't link to it, for fear of indirectly reviving it.) which was on the same subject.

In the uncensored version of the story. You have to really hunt to find the link. ;)

I'll pass. The censored version is good enough for me. Besides, I'm not really interested in what vulgarities TM comes up with, or how he uses them.

Nioca, in case this wasn't clear, Fatman (2bit) and Salmon like sarcasm and most of their posts contain at least some parts that shouldn't be taken seriously. I am pretty sure fatman was joking, and Salmon even included the ;) smiley in his post.

Set 'em up, knock 'em down. Sigh. Zeviz is right, of course. Nioca shouldn't talk much of what is said by me in seriousness. Everyone else? You better believe I'm serious. :P

That sounds ominous. I wonder what would happen that would prevent -X- from being in your story...

I was thinking more along the lines of a lockdown, or a barrier like the one in Episode 1. If he was sniped, he could probably be revived.

But it is snowing outside. He could be easily covered up by falling snow. No one would notice.

Well, you could continue to speculate, or you could go read Chapter 6: ...The Even Bigger Storm and find out. (That was quick, Tyranicus.)

Dividing the story into parts is done more to keep ads to a minimum than anything else, by the way.

There might be one tricky spot in this chapter where it's difficult to determine what happened. Let Dikiyoba know how Dikiyoba did.

Chapter 5's explanation of the snow was funny. Even better was Delicious Vlish. Chapter 6 was slow going but information is piling up with the snow.

I can't wait until I finally appear.

Very nice, as always. I particularly liked the descriptions of the forums.

PS With the couple of new unsellable trowels we got lately, it was nice to see their prototype in tech support. (I think it's time to take that insult out of its resting place in the old Geneforge forum. :) )

Best line yet. :D

(though the Imban one comes close)

I'm really just waiting for the boards to freeze up and have the story interrupted by an internal server error.

Wait a minute. I'm allowed to do that?

I thought the moderators shushed the rest of us. :P

Comment on flow: I got a little lost when it jumped to Ephesos. I thought to myself, "What am I doing at RW? I never go to RW. I don't remember going with to RW," and I looked back to find I didn't.

There'd be no trouble if you add 'Back in General...' to the beginning of the sentence.

At least you're still involved. I've almost become discontented. ;)

Appropriate to suffer through so much snow now. In other news, it has also started snowing here. I wish the winter hadn't come quite yet. :\ Looking outside helps imagine all the snow in the story, though.

Andraste, It started snowing here too. Just in time for Halloween, enought to bury a body under (hopes it won't be mine as I didn't buy the lovely wife any flowers ;) ).

Nioca, sorry for leaving the smiley face off my post (indicate humor). Another one of my bad habits I suppose.

Hey, just noticed that the appearances page is now poulated with data.

And the reviews...still blank. My guess is its filling up with pans and those are being discouraged from being posted. Well, the story does suck :) (for you Nioca ;) ) so its no wonder.

I just realized this. -X- has been here a year, it's just that he lost both his log-in name and password. Wouldn't it be feasible to say that, in the story, he's just been in a coma for a while? Just a thought.

The human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.
