The Guardian is generally considered the hardest class to play in G3; as you predict, it does poorly on Torment, although it's playable as long as you really know your way around the game. Killing enemies on higher difficulties doesn't result in more experience. It wouldn't be a higher difficulty if it weren't more difficult, now would it? :P -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! quote:It's somewhat random, and some enemies are more vulnerable than others. In concert with a couple of Glaahks it's a pretty reliable way of locking down one enemy. On its own, it's only going to stop things in their tracks some of the time. Sweetgrove isn't in bladbase.exs -- the only town in bladbase.exs is Warriors' Grove. The scenario you want to open is Valley of Dying Things, which is valleydy.exs. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

It sounds as if you're trying to edit a town that doesn't actually exist yet. If you want to make a new town, you have to use the Create New Town option first. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

quote:As the original poster mentioned, Nakel in Northern Fens drops it when killed. As might be gathered from the topic title, it gives a bonus to Energy Preservation. What exactly Energy Preservation does is the present topic of discussion; the original poster has observed no effect from it. (I presume it does slightly reduce energy costs for spellcasting, but it indubitably sucks.) -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
