You can still make ornks in Geneforge 4. Kill all the oozebeasts in Poryphra West Road (they look like purple ornks), then find a secret passage through the trees in the west.

Overlay it on top of any of the diamond-shaped "floor" graphics. Anything below the bottom of the floor will get cut off.

If I'm understanding it right, the source code of a computer program, or the blueprint of a building, would be an example of a formal cause.

Blessing can go up to 8 levels in Exile. Each level confers a +5% bonus to hit, a +1 damage bonus, and I think (but don't quite recall) a +5% bonus to dodge and +1 bonus to armor. That armor bonus is extremely powerful.

Simply not true. 8 levels is the most you can give with a special node in BoE, but casting multiple bless spells can crank up your blessing much, much higher than that. I've had monsters with 40 skill (which normally never miss) consistently miss me with sufficient blessing.

A2: Skill points decrease with lvl. 35? in The Avernum Trilogy

It's not a bug. Skill points start to decrease at high levels. It's a gameplay balance decision, I suppose.

The cap is level 40 in Avernum and level 50 in Avernum 2. I don't think Avernum 3 has a cap.

One engine exploit you can use to make Doomguards easier is filling the area around the Doomguard with Conflagration spells. Copies won't appear in spaces already occupied by fields.

Spellcraft, Magery, Magical Efficiency, Resistance and Blademaster are all perfectly viable options for training without significantly hampering your party's power early on. In a normal game, you probably won't get a chance to put many skill points into the last three anyway.

I have to say, I'd always imagined that if I were ever to appear in a film my role would be played by Hugh Grant. The casting decision actually made rather baffles me.

Julie Andrews as Saunders was an inspired choice, though.

You might want to go back and re-read the Shaper ending text: what they "learned" was that they had to be even stricter with their creations, which was what had caused the rebellion in the first place.

Someone pointed out that drakons are they only ones who don't hold to the values, I though they were the leaders of the rebellion. Why hasn't try rebellion tryed to stop them then?
Uh, they do try. They try and succeed (to an extent) in the Trakovite ending, and they try and fail in the Rebel ending.

I suppose. But it's good to economise on states where possible, on the basis that one only has a finite number to work with in any given town.

Why do you need to call another state? Just cut and paste the code for the dialog box into a conditional statement within the START_STATE.

Even if there were an OSX-compatible version of the BoE editor out there, it wouldn't be much use without an OSX-compatible version of BoE itself, now would it?

Why not put one on a mage? Extra AP never hurts, and it's not like there's any reason for your mage to be lugging a shield around.

Geneforge 4 Trainer in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

The purpose of a trainer is to mess around with a program while it's running so it does things it wouldn't normally do, which is also what viruses do. As a result, antivirus programs will often give a false positive for them.
