ETA for Nethergate: Resurrection for Windows is still July. Probably the end of the month since it's still in beta testing the last time Jeff mentioned it a few days ago. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It works in Nethergate: Resurrection which uses the BoA engine when you get somewhere over 10 level with first aid and the bonus from the kit. You really need a high level to see the benefit without having a chance to harm yourself. So unless you have a fine first aid kit or a high base first aid skill you have to save and reload several times to get healed. I was getting nailed for damage at first aid level 6. There is a hidden room with spells that you get as a reward for finishing one of the major quests by stopping the slime or cockroach plague. Ask around the mages. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I tried back tracking after reaching Amon Sul, but got blocked by a message barring going back. I didn't try after clearing the lower level because there are all those messages blocking exploration. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

There is an amount that has to be reached. Try again and make sure you keep everyone healed. If you back up too much you fail and are called a coward. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Just copy the save0 to save 19 folders. I think that some of the scripts that are in the entire game folder might act differently in the latest version that you are downloading than the older game versions. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I beat the game on Torment as a singleton nephil divine touched with pure spirit. As a party of 4 I used a nephil archer swordsman, slith pole weapon fighter, and two humans spellcasters that both had mage and priest spells with one having tool use. It just requires patience to play on torment since it's easy to die if you get too careless. When moving into new areas go slow so you get a chance to see monsters before you get into combat. Wait for the return trip to pick up too much loot so you aren't encumbered. Have fun, it's not that bad it just takes longer to kill them. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Unless you want to spend lots of skill points in training to avoid damaging yourself, then skip it. It's also limited in how often it can be used per day. It's easier to use spells and/or potions. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Try here if you are really stuck. It gives the flag codes. The search function really isn't working. The first places are in Dhonal Island and the Keep where Greta gets upgraded at the mage school and Alwan gets upgraded at the blacksmith inside the keep. High enough leadership will get free training. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Try hemlock, it's an all natural herb. One dose will cure you forever. Just because it's natural doesn't mean that it's the solution. You still need to consider all the effects like sudden death. It's when you don't have enough information to make a valid decision about the best course of action. Most doctors don't take the time to explain them and don't take the time to even learn what the problems are. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

1. Have you found Orrin's Broadsword? No 2. Have you found the Defender's Blade? No 3. Have you brewed a Panacea? Yes 4. Have you eaten raw nightshade? Yes 5. Have you ever become an unstoppable warrior (temporarily)? Yes 6. Have you found alchemy equipment? No 7. Have you trained with a highlander? Yes 8. Have you worn rusty armor? Yes 9. Have you discovered the truth about Abominations? Yes 10. Have you finished the scenario with the prefab? Yes I made it through eventually with the prefab on normal. Lots of reloads and some of the fights depended more on luck than skill, Missed some items, but some places are very time sensitive. Has anyone made it through on torment mode? For a starting character you can't get those spells at the start of the game with having the require mage skill level. You can learn them from trainers and spell books later on in the game and they should be usable then. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Doctors rarely warn you about side effects and even when they see you regularly they can fail to notice obvious adverse reactions. I've had several relatives suffer because their doctor failed to warn or change a prescription because of drug caused health problems. You have to spend time researching the drugs because the doctors usually won't help you. They now have found that there are common genetic defects that can leave you more likely to suffer adverse effects and actually not get the drug's benefit. I'm in the 10% that get no pain relief from asprin and all the related non-steroidal anti-inflammatory over the counter drugs. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

For Geneforge, it's being Barred as in Sucia Island. It would be nice to differentiate the bots from the human bans. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

The worst part of the E3 Golem Factory is that they just keep coming. You can never clear them out and fighting on the moving belts can move you away from where you want to go. So you have to go around the long way and hope that there isn't another fight. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |
