Is this spelling of "banned" significant or a typo?

Most likely a typo. That title needs to be manually entered when someone is banned, so it's not hard for that to happen.

Nothing significant other than that I was tired when I banned him and not really eager to go back and fix it.

Oh. And there I thought that you'd brilliantly invented the next great trend in bot custom titles. (Add an "N" each time there's a ban! Yayyyyy!) Hey, we never did come up with a creative new title for the banned. A couple members became bored with BANNED/Banned/BANNED at some point, right? But they never did brainstorm a better one.

In other words, the banner was a bit spangled.

Could I suggest we rename the Banned title to Empired? It seems kind of amusing given the context of the Exile/Avernum games.

Hehe. That'd go over well with Tully.

Or a Geneforge theme. Wait...what could we...

"Dumped in Sealed Lab"? "Fed to Rogues"?

Yeah, maybe Chicken's idea is a LITTLE better.

EDIT: Spelling. Sheesh.

For Geneforge, it's being Barred as in Sucia Island.

It would be nice to differentiate the bots from the human bans.

How about "B&" or "Banned-aid"?

As a rule, people who are banned should not be rewarded with cute titles.

Exiled, Banished, Barred, Assassinated, Killed, Defeated, On Vacation, Shunned, Murdered, Genocided, TMed.

Okay, that's all. Nothing more to see here. Some of the titles are good, I'd think. Also, it wouldn't really be awarding them with cool titles, as they have no way to flaunt their new titles.

Dikiyoba prefers the banned title over anything suggested here. It's simple and the meaning is obvious. Bannings should not cause confusion.

But that confusion would offer a great opportunity for more baffled people to start topics whose titles are a banned person's name! Yay!
