True, but ignoring the time period is easier than trying to figure out why and how a slith can have a human for a sister.

In A2, Dikiyoba's party keeps every pillow they run across and later move them all to the rakshasi lair so that the party has somewhere comfortable to retire to once they complete all the game quests.

"The End of Blades" Discussion in Blades of Avernum

I'd like to see the scenarios that are currently out but buggy, short, unbalanced, and filled with typos but have a relatively (it's a matter of opinion, I know) good premise fixed up than have more bad scenarios created.

Dikiyoba plays the good scenarios more than once as opposed to the bad ones, which get played halfway through and then thrown away.

Edit: Dikiyoba hasn't seen an error message when trying to post before. And yet it's oddly appropriate that it happened in this topic.

I played Mad Ambition as a slith as the lead character, and didn't change the graphic. That was interesting...

Whatever other faults it has, Babysitting at least adjusts the sister's race according to the race of the lead character.

Nonsense. After the new Shaper graphic of G3 and the squashed profiles in the inventory screen, corruption by Avernum is the least of graphic worries.

Wait, Dikiyoba remembers something about a giant boat...

Edit: If it makes TesabilityBlack feel better, Dikiyoba clearly realized TesabilityBlack was a girl.

I don't suppose you have a sibling who points and yells "Hey! That's you!" every time a fell beast comes into view, though.

Dikiyoba supposes that's what Dikiyoba deserves for yelling "Hey! That's a really nice shot of you!" at said sibling every time there is a shot of a particularily ugly orc.

It's possible to adjust the level of a skill based on how many members are in a party. When I design, I require a lower level for a skill for 1-2 members in a party and a higher value if there are 3-4 members.

Let's look at Dikiyoba's stats.

Dikiyoba's probably a victim, but Dikiyoba honestly doesn't care. A for apathy.

Yeller vs. Spammer. Look at post count vs. time. Definitely S for spammer. But with occasional good things to say.

Dikiyoba hates romance, so has to go with T for thinker. Admittedly, Dikiyoba is humorous and creative to a fault. But that takes thought.

Probably a descriptivist, but it's getting too late to think it through. Must not fall asleep before completing homework...

So, Dikiyoba is a ASTD. Who has a good acronym?

Sparkz was a good game.

There was an Internet mock-off called Qix or something like that that was pretty good, but only because one could type in any name and quote they wanted if they made the high scores, and making the high score was easy. So there was stuff like "All hail Emperor Bush" and "Never ever ever leapfrog a unicorn" and "I knew it! The blue one hates me!"

Dikiyoba does not need any more encouragement to be weird, so the quotes probably weren't such a good thing. But a small percentage were funny.

I believe they were attempting to weed out the smart serviles at the time because the increased canister use and power-hungry philosophy caused a shift to obedient creations and not independent ones.

Dikiyoba thinks the Awakened in G2 are a lot more powerful than the Awakened in G1. And they get a better ending in G2, too.

Edit: Sig change.

Correct Dikiyoba if Dikiyoba is wrong:

There's an artila that can be reabsorbed in the demo of G3. However, it took (relatively) high leadership to absorb it and if the leadership wasn't high enough, the artila would go hostile.

Top Three Ways To Freak People Out:

1. Go into a store, pick out a mundane item, and then jabber on about it in gibberish to a sales clerk.
2. Sit in an elevator and ride up and down, saying that you aren't getting off on a particular floor because you're only on the elevator because "You can sure meet some interesting people on elevators, can't you?"
3. First, you need a dried date (it's a fruit). Ask an almost complete stranger whether they want a date. If they say yes, give them the date. If they say no, eat the date.

Dikiyoba has done all but the first one. That one Dikiyoba leaves to Dikiyoba's peers.

Edit: Spacing.

Posting the wish for the topic to die in the topic seems counterproductive. Just let it fade to obscurity and pointedly ignore it should it ever return.

I suppose a mod should be sent in to check on it once in a while, in the name of decency. But only once in a while.

Dikiyoba has made no comment on whether this topic should be allowed to live or die.

Iran and Middle Eastern countries with oil (or any country with oil) have a huge advantage over other countries. Modern society can't function without it. All other economic sanctions are basically worthless without including oil as part of the deal, but that would be a larger sanction on modern society than on the Middle East.

Dikiyoba wishes the power of stupidity could be harnessed to generate electricity and run cars. A cheap, renewable power source would work wonders. Better yet, it wouldn't pollute the environment any worse than stupidity does while unharnessed.

Sliths are like dinosaurs. They're reptiles, except that they aren't quite reptiles. They're a little too advanced to be plain, ordinary reptiles. Thus, they can have an upright structure, a four-chambered heart, and great intelligence while still being reptiles.

There's no proof the nephil have nipples either, but the fur makes it pretty hard to tell.

Dikiyoba wonders why this conversation has to occur in the Geneforge section. It's a great discussion, but slightly misplaced.

Sliths are indeed reptiles, since they are described as "lizard men" in the Za-Khazi Run.

As for female sliths, the only thing noticeably sets them apart is the fact that one slith character graphic in BoA wears pink and another one wears a purple "shirt." Even those aren't definitive.

Dikiyoba wonders how much it would take to manually replace a shaper/guardian/agent graphic with a drakon graphic, just to make I_am_a_Minotaur happy and be able to move on?

I disagree. Some of the less heated arguements I have seen have all been online. Arguments in person become heated the moment someone raises their voice. Which is most of the time. Arguments online just last a lot longer and enable the quiet people to have their say, which they don't get when the argument is face-to-face. They're easier to ignore, too.
