Dikiyoba will finally post a picture of Dikiyoba, since that is the intended point of the thread.

Uh oh. Dikiyoba just sent E.D.F a private message concerning his recent posting spree. After he apologized, since he apologized while Dikiyoba was writing it. Oh well. Dikiyoba is sorry, E.D.F. Read it with a grain of salt. Or a whole shaker full of it.

Seriously, though, the whole situation is a mess with no easy solution. How can religious beliefs and freedom of the press be reconciled? Obviously, both sides have to compromise, but can either side do it? And if one side compromises but the other doesn't, it's as bad as neither side compromising.

Keeping Items -GF2- in Geneforge Series
Councilor
Member # 6600

Keep anything obviously rare and unusual, like purified essence, because they are probably ingredients for powerful items. You may sell gemstones and emeralds or keep them until a quest that doesn't provide experience. Keep shaper equipment. Research notes may or may not be useful, depending on the path one takes. In short, just keep anything that looks like it may be valuable, at least the first time through.

Dikiyoba.

Edit: Fixed typo.

I believe it is a drake. "Wyrm" is sometimes used instead of a dragon or drake in places other than Avernum.

Dikiyoba figures there's so many spoilers around that it no longer matters. Besides, the topic has gone past its original intent.

Dikiyoba's in after the lock. Okay, so it wasn't really locked. But hopefully there will be an abrupt change of topic.

Edit: Dikiyoba's post started a new page. Dikiyoba thinks the last post Dikiyoba created started a new page too. Weird but meaningless coincidence.

America tries to do what's right...whenever it isn't being totally paranoid or selfish. It's foreign policy is also incredibly short-sighted. I would also say that many Americans don't realize the full extent of America's current and historical foreign policies. But the fact that Americans can safely debate America's shortcomings and other country's merits is a good thing.

Is there a way to keep playing after winning A3? in The Avernum Trilogy
Councilor
Member # 6600

I thought the question sounded familiar.

The only point in continuing to play is to finish any side quests or find any final loot. It's not really important, because a meticulous person will have done so already. Just the fact that it is possible is empowering for some people though. Sometimes my party wanders for days in Avernum 2 because they don't want to start all over at the beginning again.

Dikiyoba notices that Kelandon is living up to his custom title today...

Next time someone demands free registration codes multiple times, let's tell them that the registration code is youareamoron or something along those lines and see how long it takes them to figure it out.

Read the Code of Conduct and use your common sense, DanandJulie1994, and you'll do fine here. Be patient too; it will take several hours and least and a day or two at most to get an answer once the question has been determined.

Obnoxious posting habits, long sinister tentacles-what's the difference?

Dikiyoba can think of one land animal with tentacles. Vlish! Admittedly, they float rather than walk.

Dikiyoba was wondering when someone would ask that question. Dikiyoba has used it for so long Dikiyoba can't remember exactly what it means. It's an acronym (of sorts) and it has something to do with dinosaurs. But the exact meaning is forgotten.

Since A4 is only out for Mac (except for Windows testing), it is logical that the cheats work for Macs.

It's not about the Minotaurs at Spiderweb Software. It's about the giant spiders. Too bad there haven't been any in the Geneforge series. At least, not yet.

Ranks in Blades of Avernum

It depends on the skills each character has as well as the level. The ranks don't have an effect on the game.

Dikiyoba's party is currently composed of a veteran, two healers, and thaumaturgist. Dikiyoba thinks that the member with 15 levels of tool use and 5 levels of priest spells is more of a rogue than a healer, but that's nitpicking.

It's a groccery store that looks pretty much like every other large, rectangular store. I met someone from California who'd never heard of it either (and was completely in awe of it, for some odd reason). That's just one state away. I've only ever seen two, both in Oregon. It's just that one of those two is in the city I shop in, so I'm familiar with it.

Dikiyoba wonders: what stores are in Tyranicus's area?

Thanks for the info. Dikiyoba briefly tested it and it appeared that quiting and reloading the game worked.
