In case anyone missed Dikiyoba's point before, while the dragons in the Eragon series were spectacular, THE ELVES WERE BORING! Thank you.

Tomorrow, Dikiyoba shall set Dikiyoba's world view so that Dikiyoba may enter these forums through the back wall instead of through the door in an attempt to smuggle in Dikiyoba's sanity.

I don't know if language is even an issue. Sometimes, people just assume someone is male in the absence of proof otherwise. Especially if there is a long tradition of assuming that they are male.

Well, his account doesn't register as being seen recently, so if he is lurking, he's doing so as a wanderer.

But that would also mean TM is the only person to have three titles. Some people are already worried, why add to it?

Dikiyoba just discovered that the search function on these boards is useless. Dikiyoba had much better success on Google.

Well, if the debate over the merits of TM's and Kelandon's scenarios is enough to endanger the poor, fluffy kittens, this debate is more than enough to endanger every feline in existence and start endangering the canines too.

Elves? Stealing from Tolkien is a good way to doom an otherwise acceptable world to mediocrity.

Agreed. Anyone ever read Eldest? The dragons were so compelling, the krull (Is that right?) were impressive, the dwarves were okay, but the elves were so...blah. Perfectly blah. Oh, and, somehow, the climatic battle was blah, too. That seems harder to mess up than not.

On the other hand, Dikiyoba has an elf in one of Dikiyoba's stories. There's nothing mediocre in bringing down an AT-AT walker-type machine with arrows. Just borderline copyright-infringement.

Edit: Spelling.

It's actually "ihateserviles." (Minus the period, of course.)

And if you ever forget how to do any of the tags while creating a reply, just click on the link "UBB Code is enabled." next to the text window and scroll down until you find the section that describes what you're trying to do. If in doubt, click on the "preview post" button to see whether you did it right.

I hate how often radio stations for popular music repeat songs. And how stations claim that they play "non-stop music" stop after every song to point that out. Since they do that, they are no longer playing "non-stop music." It annoys me to no end.

Therefore, Dikiyoba ends up listening to a lot of CDs.

Dikiyoba has found that, with the exception of the god party, characters that level up normally are stronger than the characters who level up with the HLPM.

I ran across that minor problem myself with my no-human party. I just thought "slith" whenever I saw "human" and it worked out.

TM, please stop. You've made your point. It's a good point, but people who a have slith or nephil in their party have to work around it somehow or else they have to avoid the scenario.

So, mathematics isn't the solution to everything. There must still be something that mathematics is a subset of. Hmmm...

My best guess is that mischatology is eschatology refering to the miscellaneous forum.

No, Dikiyoba wasn't there for it either.

Oh boy! Let's come up with plot ideas!

In Avernum 5, the vahnatai should create monster plagues for both Avernum and the Empire at the same time. In Geneforge 4, the PC should be a drakon.

Please, Jeff, please?

Now that those disasters have been averted, Dikiyoba can breathe a sigh of relief. Oh, and nobody saw anything about giant spiders or arachnid shaping in the Geneforge forum. In fact, nobody has even used the words shaping and arachnid together.

I hope you also wear non-perishable food and bottled water, or else you'll just die in the lifeboat in the middle of the ocean instead of dying on a deserted island.

Dikiyoba wears nothing that would enable Dikiyoba to escape a deserted island but compensates by avoiding airplanes, ships, magical portals, and other places that may lead to deserted islands.

Edit: Apparently, it is supposed to be a desert island, not a deserted island. Dikiyoba would rather be stuck on a dessert island.

I'm wondering how a traditionally-sized dragon finds enough to eat. Surely, the inhabitants of an entire village aren't enough to keep a huge beast alive for two centuries, even if it is cold-blooded and sleeps the whole time.

Dikiyoba watched some Olympics last night. Dikiyoba wishes the stations would just show Dikiyoba the events rather than getting news anchors to talk about them. Isn't that why there are commentators?

Hmm...werewolves existing on a planet with two moons...think of the possibilities.

Dikiyoba sort of lumped capitalization in with periods and commas under "punctuation."
