Maybe all life could be aerial or aquatic? Dikiyoba appreciates the fact that the spelling is fairly accurate and there is basic grammer. Now, how about proper punctuation? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Why are there so many celebratory topics? Because once the first person creates one, then everyone else posts to congratulate them, thus increasing their post count. Eventually, someone else reaches a post count worth celebrating and the cycle continues. Anyway, congratulations. Dikiyoba will drop by and congratulate Jumpin' Salmon again at some later point in time... Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Um, I think I read this statement of TM's wrong: quote:For some reason, I assumed this statement was about Babysitting, not Mad Ambition (probably because he quoted a statement of mine about Babysitting in the same post and because I've only played both scenarios one time through). That assumption was the basis for this statement: quote:Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I wonder how one accesses the Shaper forum. Probably takes a mechanics skill of 30 and a magic shaping skill of 10 to create a shaped computer or a leadership skill of 20 to convince others to let you borrow theirs. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

All quotes originally by Nick Ringer: quote:Not anymore. The argument over drakons is done in this topic unless I_am_a_Minotaur or someone else brings it back up. quote:I was aiming for mild humor rather than sarcasm, but it certainly wasn't intended to be taken seriously. If by some chance arachnid shaping does appear in G4, well, I won't complain. quote:If you can find them, then sliths are mammals. Until then, Dikiyoba is convinced that slithzerakai are highly evolved reptiles due to their egg-laying, lack of hair, and difficulty regulating body temperature. Because most people, if suddenly poofed onto an island naked, would immediately start wondering how they ended up the the island and try to figure out how to replace their clothes rather than worry about what one game they have on their computer. Is there some irony in Thuryl posting a one-line post threatening to lock the topic if there is one more one-line post? Dikiyoba is confident that this post is over one line long. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I apologize for the confusion (and any embarrassment resulting from dumb analogies). I wasn't refering to you but to a new member (TesabilityBlack) who went through and posted on almost every topic on the GF forum about two days ago and who fit the definition of "cute" pretty well. Let's just say TesabilityBlack's devotion to her cryoa plushy caught Dikiyoba's attention as an example of cuteness... Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Avernum 2. It's been a while. Playing through it a few more times would refresh my memory. Who knows, I might even try new strategies. Besides, when I got bored, I could use the other programs on said computer. There was no restriction on Powerpoint or Word, after all. Dikiyoba. Edit: Fixed spelling. I find the whole nature vs. choice debate over sexuality quite fascinating (and confusing or frustrating at times). Both sides make some good arguments and some bad ones. Personally, I'm leaning towards nature. Dikiyoba wonders whether if someone who is not homosexual is automatically categorized as heterosexual. Is there a word to define someone who is not attracted to either sex? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Congratulations to all who posted! Especially to Arayncaytar, for being one of the few people to shorten Dikiyoba's name down. Dikiyoba suspects that one reason that Dikiyoba's post count took some people by surprise is the fact that Dikiyoba's posts are spread out over practically every forum. Nope. Considering the fact that I only own A2, it would be hard for me to get confused. There's a small rakshasi lair somewhere in the Great Cave close to Fort Remote. It's been a long time since I've played it, too, but I remember doing that. Multiple times. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Actually, another Geneforge wouldn't be so bad. However, it has to be something the main character can use. If the main character can't use it, then I don't really care. There's no last minute decisions to be made. (Do I use it or destroy it? Or do I use it and then destroy it?) It's just destroy it and go home. The decision would be even more interesting if there were bonus sections that could only be accessed (or possible to beat without major effort) once the Geneforge had been used. Dikiyoba. Anyone who would have gone to the Geneforge forum today or yesterday would have realized that Nicothodes is not, in fact, cute. She may be nice and she may be pretty, but she is not cute. The difference between nice and cute is like the difference between eating a warm, delicious chocolate chip cookie and chugging a full cup of sugar. No, Dikiyoba is not attempting to flatter Nicothodes. It was just an excuse to make a dumb analogy. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
