1. arghhhhhhhhh has made a post involving evil laughter before. 2. TM's insult wasn't too (that's a relative term) insulting, just stupid. 3. TM's behavior is being commented on a lot right now, so it certainly isn't being ignored. 4. TM's behavior isn't much worse than anyone else's current behavior in this topic. 5. I've only ever seen people banned for asking for registration codes or blatant advertisement. 6. If we really, really wanted to be technical, you've just insulted and belittled me. Dikiyoba. Nicothodes, I think you and I would be the perfect pair. We would be the pair-that-isn't-really-a-pair-because-we-refuse-to-date-pair. Do you think that: 1. Dating is stupid? 2. Going to dances are stupid? 3. Your life is so much better when you are single? 4. People keep trying to hook you up for no apparent reason? 5. People need to keep their dating opinions to themselves? 6. Cute is a stupid word? Dikiyoba is now hungry for a pair of pears... Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Ash Lael: quote:Sure we do. arghhhhhhhhh's posts are still far below the quality expected for anyone else and he's getting fewer and fewer comments about it. Very few people ask about the gimmicks that long established members use. Compromise is just part of the system. For instance, Dikiyoba would sometimes get multiple comments in a day about why Dikiyoba uses third person when Dikiyoba first joined. Now, Dikiyoba rarely gets any. Dikiyoba notices that most of those who choose to disable karma tend to cause problems (the exception is Ash Lael). So Dikiyoba doesn't hand out too many one-star ratings. Edit: Grammar. For some reason, Dikiyoba thinks Alorael is a stick figure with a gun and an ever-changing name. It may be because of Archmage Alex and his glorious comics. Or maybe it's the second-hand skribbane. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I have no idea, but it is slightly purple. Just slightly. I hate that icon, though. The crystal soul icon is just so much more appropriate. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I thought of those places, but I didn't actually want to say them without permission. Now I can. arghhhhhhhhh, go visit RIFQ. They have a place called "spammer's heaven." I think you will be welcome and allowed to post crazy stuff as much as you want. No one hurt Dikiyoba if this turns out to be the wrong thing to suggest... Dikiyoba is excited. Dikiyoba can get A1 and A3 for less than they would cost separately and can replace the Mac version of A2 with a Windows version in the process (and maybe Nethergate as well). That sounds good, but it will have to wait a long time. Dikiyoba's parents aren't happy with the amount of time Dikiyoba spends on the computer already and it would be stupid to add to it. All newbs who post more than a few times get harrassed. At one point, arghhhhhhhhh did say he was 8. Now he says he's 10. There's more similarities between him and "Eddie" (for some reason, he reminds me of the computer in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) than one might think. Since arghhhhhhhhh doesn't seem likely to run off, we might as well learn to live with him, just like we learn to live with just about everyone else who sticks around. Dikiyoba alternately pities and is annoyed by both arghhhhhhhhh and "Eddie." Edit: Typo. I'd rather have preset encounters than random percentages when dealing with direct canister effects. It seems like preset encounters would be easier to incorporate into the storyline, as well. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

They can't be much worse than some people. The worst thing they could do would be to mistake dollar bills for grass and eat them. Suddenly, coins become extremely valuable. Dikiyoba. Edit: Typo. I once overheard a conversation between an interested listener and someone who believed that drinking milk (and eating/drinking other dairy products) was more inhumane than eating beef. Unfortunately, I can't remember the details. It was compelling at the time, however. And then there's the people who believe that unpasturized milk is less of a health risk than pasturized milk. I just ignore them, except to mock their stupidity. Edit: That was close shave. Dikiyoba almost double-posted. Thank goodness for the error message. You're doing fine, Thralni. Usually, when I run into errors that I can't fix through rereading the script or checking the docs, I go away for a while. Then I come back and realize what I goofed up on. The funniest mistake I've made so far was while trying to create a cutscene featuring a magical barrier. I typed erase_text_barriers(); instead of erase_text_bubbles();. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
