Dikiyoba isn't in it yet. That's the next scene. But homework must be completed before the next scene can be written. Which means Dikiyoba shouldn't be here at all. Oh well. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

First off: Originally by Dintiradan: quote:Done. ------------- quote:You can do that too. You just aren't sure why you'd want to. Originally by Arancaytar: quote:Hey, don't give anything away... Originally by Thralni: quote:I looked at your request, but I don't think I can include it. It just wouldn't make sense, even in the loose sense of the script. Sorry. ----------- Dikiyoba will take any post in this topic as a willingness to appear in the script. Please PM Dikiyoba if someone notices any major typos, mispelled names, something that is incredibly offensive, or wants to be called by a different name. Personally, I find casting repel spirit on undead more satisfactory than bolt of fire or acid spray, regardless of efficency. I mean, I'm casting bolt of fire and spray acid on nephilim, on goblins, on bats, on rats, and on giant lizards (Clearly, I'm not too far into the demo). I want to use repel spirit on the undead. I'm learning the excessive dialogue part now, with my pathetic, nowhere-anywhere-close-to-being-done scenario. Never again will I create a quest that requires you to walk around and talk to all the guards. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No, I see/saw it too. And I saw the time where he forgot his sig as well. Dikiyoba knows that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, but there's no reason people in glass houses can't point and laugh. Edit: Big typo. Point and laugh. No, it means that being canned is a serious warning for those who consistantly make nusciences of themselves without breaking the Code of Conduct so severely that they get banned. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Isn't there a famous quote or proverb about insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? Dikiyoba calls everyone's attention to Dikiyoba's new sig. Oh wait. Dikiyoba doesn't have one. Never mind. Edit: Wait, Dikiyoba actually does... [ Monday, March 06, 2006 16:24: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

So, Ed, if you can write a story featuring Spiderweb, I can use you in a story featuring Spiderweb, right? I'll put up a link to it as soon as I finish the second scene. Don't worry, though, Alorael is in it. Sniping. Dikiyoba. Edit: Testing...testing...okay, it's up. Dintiradan, every time I see your "IF I EVER BECOME AN EVIL OVERLORD," I am reminded of the online, animated LotR parody "One Ring To Rule Them All 2." Dikiyoba realizes this post isn't relevant to the topic. In fact, it was designed to be irrelevant to the topic because the topic is irrelevant. Edit: Ephesos, he did post the exact same thing twice. It's not like he wasn't warned. [ Monday, March 06, 2006 14:45: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Actually, if you only have the demo, the little window that pops up to encourage you to register gets annoying fast. Does anyone know how to get rid of it (besides registering)? It was useful...the first ten times I saw it. Now it's merely annoying. Whatever else happens, Dikiyoba hopes that this "encouragement" does not appear in any future Spiderweb games. I wonder how feasible it would be to have one character be nothing but a thief and a pack mule. I imagine that character would end up with more nature lore, arcane lore, and first aid than the others, solely because other skills wouldn't be so pressing. The only problem is that the character would be a liability in combat. Good thing he or she will just lose consciousness. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Avernum games would probably be impossible, since so many requests require someone to die. One of the major quest in A1 is to kill Emperor Hawthorne and a major quest in A2 is to kill Garzhad, after all. Geneforge games have a slightly better chance, since leadership enables you to talk your way out of things. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
