Yeah, you probably picked up a uranium bar or two. Seems like there is a pair of gloves that does that to you too... Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

quote:In my experience, Slith Priests love to cast sanctuary on themselves and their surrounding allies. Quite annoying, actually, but not too harmful. Dikiyoba, who didn't find sanctuary to be too useful because it wears off the moment you attack. Heal and Mass Heal were so much more useful, really. Sorry, Alorael. I'll agree with you that the nephar gene is recessive, since that makes it simple. But recessive genes are lowercase (n, in this case) and dominant genes are capitalized (N). So a nephil would be NN or Nn while a nephar could only be nn. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I finally got around to playing Counter-Strike after watching people play it for three years. It's like really good and really bad at the same time. If you are in a good location, know what you are doing, have no computer problems, have an interesting group of people playing with you, and aren't getting slaughtered, it's excellent. If you are always lost, have computer issues, people aren't being funny, and get killed all the time, it's really, really boring and frustrating. I personally find almost any good game replayable. I must have played A2 to the end at least two dozen times and it never gets old. You just have to be creative-all four characters have a fascinating back story, a reason for their specialized roles, and a reason to have gotten together. Sometimes it involves a demon with magical powers, er, I mean, the character editor, and the fall-out from that. Haven't played it for a while, but that's starting to sound like a really good idea... Dikiyoba posts, leaves the forum, turns on the Mac, and proceeds to play Avernum 2. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Biology deals specifically with living things (or that closely relate with living things). It's a very broad field. You can narrow it down into fields like ecology, natural history, biochemistry, etc. I've never heard of biophysics, but there must be something like it. Remember, dihydrogen monoxide is a widespread, dangerous chemical found in every patient with a terminal illness and a component of all acid rain. In fact, there was probably a bunch of it in the glass of water I just finished drinking... Dikiyoba Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It would take a really, really big asteroid to kill off all of the human population. Even the theorized enormous astroid that supposedly killed the dinosaurs and relatives couldn't wipe out crocodiles, turtles, conifer trees, sharks, cockroaches, those really strange animals known as mammals (they're just freaky, don't you think?)and a bunch of other animals I can't think of off the top of my head. Somewhere, somehow, bands of humans would survive and repopulate all the Earth. It just might not be anyone we know. Random Quote: The current theory of evolution is a theory, not a fact, and that's why its called a theory. Duh. Please do not be offended by the previous statement. Thank you. -Dikiyoba Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I'm glad I'm limiting words in Jahas to just four syllables. Except maybe for technology, medicine, and science, but I'm not going to use those, so I don't have to make them up. !eja amaj ekan! What? Don't you make up your own languages too? -Dikiyoba Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

quote:That's how I play A2 and BoA (Don't play A1 and A3, and can't play A4 until the Windows version comes out.) Well, I pretend one of the nephil is a nephar, but still... Also, quote:Tor, near Fort Draco in A2, reacts to having a nephil in the party. Funny how A Perfect Forest in BoA doesn't react given that my entire party has no humans... -Dikiyoba (Good luck figuring out what that stands for.)
