Download a N64 emulator and get Mario 64. That would probably be my favourite rpg ever. Diablo 2 is also pretty good. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

With windows the save files are kept in a completly different place on the hard drive (eg. My Documents). If it's the same sort of thing for mac that could be your problem. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I agree. It was nearly impossible to figure out and most people don't bother to notice anything other than the immediate action in those type of situations. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Yea, that's the same as me. Although I would like to own one as having the actual thing is always nice. However, having to pay for the hintbook and for the shipping of it just isn't worth it. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I have no idea. I recently had insomnia from things that were happening in my life and I just didn't sleep for a few days. I recommend drinking a few beers and that will make you really tierd. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Yea, I loved the fact that the story line was differnent and it offered something completely new without losing the Avernum type engine. (I played it after the avernums by the way). I think a second one like that would be brilliant. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Like I said, I think it's just because I played it first so it is what I'm used to. The other ways just seem wierd. And that card game was brilliant. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Theres not to much point getting excited about those types of games until they come out. Just because a game looks and sounds good in no way means it will be. Empire Earth II was a huge disapointment. Rise of nations is by far the best one of those type games because of the whole combination of Risk and AOE. quote:Well, it even if it's better than Doom 3 it's got a long way to go before it gets out of the "terrible" category. I really hated Doom 3 and no-one else I knew did, but a while back I found someone else who did. - Doom 3 Review My favourtie line is "When I played Doom 3 for the first time, I pondered to myself, "Yeah, this game is alright, but it would be a lot better if it had four colors, three graphics, two players, one ball, and no point." It's so true. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I think this probably should have been put in the "reccomended reading" thread. It doesn't really seem like something that is big enough to get its own topic. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I used to be quite trusting. But now I trust like one or two people. I trust my best mate to keep secrets and give me decent advice, but I don't trust him not to draw on my face while sleeping/kill me. The killing thing has almost happened so many times that we decided to get a few on video. Most of the time it's just ideas of his that sound good but never quite go as planned. At the end of the day those things would just get boring and tedius anyway. They would just end up annoying people when newcomers start using them constantly. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I don't subscribe to any mags but I do occasionally purchase PCgamer and occasional PS2 magazines when there is something decent on the demo disk. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
