The Avernum series is newer and so I guess Jeff figures that he will make more sales by making an Avernum 4 rather than an Exile 4. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

You don't actually "make" them. Occasionally, when he gets bored, Drakefyre will give someone a custom title. It doesn't happen all that often and when it does it's not by choice. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Personally I still prefer Avernum 2. But when there are a few more scenarios out I will probably swing in favour of BoA. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Summoned creatures are handy when facing someone with powerful attack magic. It's good to have someone else take the blows and your characters surviving for another round. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Mine are as follows Kingy (Leader and fighter[I like to feel like I'm in the game]) Mycroft (Mage) Melissa (Priest) Brian (Fighter / lockpicker) This is the first combo I ever used and I used it in all of the Avernum series. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

It is. It's by far the most fun thing I have ever done. I reccommend that some of you guys go out and buy an old bike that's a pile of rubbish and go to a beach and do some jumps on it. I love it so much. Also, for me, it's only $8 for a full tank of gas. Edit: I just remembered, a picture of it can be found in This Thread. I'd have to say my list would be as follows - Kirk Hammett Dave Navarro God George lucas (Not because I actually like the guy, but in the hopes of scoring free Star Wars stuff[Just watched a DVD of Ep III today and the movie was ALOT better than II]) Actually, Bill Gates might be an option as well, I might pick up some free money. quote:It's a motorbike, as mentioned above. And I am guessing it was about 80kph (my speedos broken), because I was in 5th gear and my bike wasn't going much faster. Yea, I know, my bike maxing out at 80kph on the flat is pretty pathetic. Occasionally it can get to about 130 down a hill though. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I don't even have a car. However, I do have a motorbike. A CT185 held together by ducktape to be presise. I think I might have a picture here somewhere.... Yea, that bike has never failed me. For what I would like to have, they would have to be a super bike and a dirt bike. I just don't like driving cars and much prefer bikes. Oh, I also don't have my licence but I'm out in the country so no-one really worries, and if there is a cop out here it's for a reason so they wouldn't bother with pulling me over. Edit: Because of a crash the front mudguard is now pretty much non-existant. Other than that the bike is fine, and everything is still in good condition. I started reading one of those books and, although the plot seemed like it would be good, my attention was soon elsewhere and I just couldn't read the book as it was quite boring. If done correctly however, these could become brilliant scenarios. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I was on the beach. The only damage that happened was a broken front mud guard. Also today I crashed again after getting about 2m high air. My bike is a CT185 and believe me those things are hard to kill. Also, about damage to me, I only have sore ribs, and cuts (and a burn) on my leg. Crashing a motorbike on the beach is fine because you barely ever get hurt. I've never been hurt in any way that doesn't allow me to get back up and carry on driving. When I first played Avernum it was brilliant, because barely anything would run on my old computer. I was amazed that I could run a game I liked so much. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I have a rediculous fear of papercuts. I mean, just minutes ago I crashed my bike while going 80kph but I'd much rather that than a paper cut. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Also gangs of people here are generally only when one person is far to weak and needs all of his friends to back him up so he can be a smartass and then know no-one is going to hurt him. Although some people still try and most of the time succed because the majority of them (the gang members) are cowards. Yea you can. The standard directory for the pictures (on windows) is - C:/Program Files/Blades of Avernum/Data/Art graphics . The Avatars are there. You can download custom graphics from - The Louvre Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I haven't ever really been afraid of anything until recently. A few weeks ago I started having hallucinations, nothing much, just seeing lights that weren't there and cars that weren't there when we got over a rise and colours etc that didn't exsist in that place. It was actually pretty cool until about 3 nights ago when a white light started shining on my book shelf around every minute. It was messed up becuase there was no light source there and no light was shinning on it. I was a little worried about this, but then I closed my eyes to ignore it and in my head I saw red eyes and then jagged blue/grey hands choking me and then some wierd face, that wasn't human guarnteed, flashed over my face and then I opened my eyes. I got really worried from this and didn't go to sleep for a few hours. It was really messed up that my mind would produce that sort of image when I wasn't even thinking about that. I don't know whether I should go to the doc about the hallucinations or not though. He'd probably just label me as insane. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
