I bet Ive skimmed over someone and missed it but has anyone read any of Chris Bunch's series? I've read both of his stand alone book and am considering buying one of his series (You can buy them for like $4 a book so why not) and was wondering if anyone had read them and could give me an opinion?

I talked to a cop about it and he said that it most likely wouldnt amount to anything luckily. But if it does Im going to be pretty bummed. And at the moment I have to find a way to get to work which is like 30-40 km away from me at 7am. Might have to talk one of my mates into letting me stay with them

Well...New day, new happenings. Im writing a new post caus today something interesting happened. I wrote off my car. Kinda sucks but it was like $300 so I'll just go buy another one I guess. Im more bummed caus some roadworks guy pulled up once I'd gotten my ass outta my rolled car and said that I could be liable for the damage done to the road, and that could be up to $3000. I didnt even know they could do that.

Usually when one of these happens in a poll Nethergate and A2/E2 end up at the top of the list. I gotta say my favourite is A2. Freaking loved that game. Beat it like 3 times.

Woohoo! My signed copy of John Dies At The End arrived. I love this book so much. And it only cost $25USD to get it signed and shipped to New Zealand. Awesome.

Someone had installed the Avernum 2 demo on the school computers at primary school and I happened to stumble across it while avioding work. I was imediatly sucked into it and have been a big fan of spiderweb ever since.

Once I'd beaten the game I instantly caved to using the game editor (or whatever it's called) for this sorta thing so I guess you're doing better than me. I just felt since I'd beaten the game I may as well get it.

Haha yea it is good. Have you (and for that matter anyone else who has read it[which I strongly suggest you do]) read the second one? It was still really funny with John antics but it was about 1/4 the length. Still, it's definitely something you should read if you enjoyed the first.

I think for me with music and sound effects I generally listen to them the first time around so I can get the full effect of the story that they are trying to show me. Second time around since I already know what happens I usually turn off their music completely, play with the sound effects half down and have my own music going in the background.

I just realised some of the terrible english in my post when I read that quote. Anyway, I was really absorbed into it all, I really love David Wongs writting. Does "Eeek" and "Ewww" mean you didnt like it at all or just got squeamish during it?

Yea, don't I know it. I woke up this morning with a cup of water I hadnt finished the night before all frozen beside me. I really should get a heater or something but working 1-2 days a week just doesn't cover those luxury items.

Yea, it does seem kinda stupid that an entire town can die with little to no consequence. Speaking of that, does anyone know of any good games where what I do does actually make a large impact?

I actually like this kinda stuff. I mean, most other games take themselves too sereously when explaining things.

I've gotta say its them all. I mean, all of those things combined would make a brillaint game.

Moral dilemmas are fun for me. I'm generally an ass in game and my dilemma is more if I can get away with killing them and robbing them for their -
Weapons/ammo/houses/horses/armor/clothing/coupla bucks/experience.
I love the kinda games that allow me to do that, such as Morrowind/Oblivion.

I've gotta say the book that really do that is John Dies At The End). It has only just began pre-ordering for the actual book but an online copy can be found here.

Also, first post in like 6 months. Might have to start posting here occasionally if I can find the time. I'm freaking losing it and figure at least here I'm no more insane than anyone else.

I haven't been here for months and the other day Tyran told me that Nethergate 2.0 actually had some information out. I'm really impressed that Jeff used a similar engine for it. I didn't enjoy the Geneforge engine in the Avernum world but Im looking forward to Nethergate Resurrection and will most likely purchase it when it's released.

If you enjoy Iron Maiden you should listen to Primal Fear. I actually like them more and the vocals are essentially the same. They have some damn good songs such as Tears Of Rage.

For next year all I can hope to do is not blow all my money on booze. Since I'll be flatting and being a student and all I doubt that I'll be able to manage this. But one can hope.

Heres hoping for a George Forman grill and maybe some food. Gotta love moving out. I'm doing a year at polytech for an IT course but since I'm not 18 the government wont give me an allowance (Which people still in highschool can get here) so I'll have to work nights, weekends and then attend polytech during the week. Should be fun.

That's actually something that bothers me as well. It's kinda annoying but it doesn't hurt and isnt really even enough to make you cringe.
