I really hate school. I would like it because I don't mind learning but the teachers are terrible and you barely learn anything. Most of them are more worried about making sure that you know you can't do anything, including grow your hair long, without getting into trouble about it. The only thing I like about school is socialising. Also violence is at school and when you can't be bothered and someone is getting in your face thats what happens. There has been 9 fights in the last 8 days, and we are at a school with only around 900 people in it, the majority of the 900 being 10-14 year olds. I'm just glad no-one is stupid enough to fight with weapons, because using a gun or knife to solve your problems is just, quite frankly, cheap and cowardly. I'm personally with the Abyss. I like the Exiles but the Abyss has people who have been Exiled from Exile. I mean, it's bad enough to be kicked out of the real world and into a shotty backwards literal hole in the ground, and then to not be kicked out of that as well. Thats just harsh. I'll give the demo a shot but I have a feeling that I wont bother to get the full game. I personally am an Avernum fan (eg. the graphics, the wierd directions etc) but if this game doesn't do it for me I may have to get BoE and try out the E4 that was made on that. My friend just got the graphics now, in a few minutes I should have them and I'll just edit this post and tell you what I think. Edit: Brilliant man, I quite like brown dude, expecially the dying effects. [ Wednesday, August 24, 2005 00:49: Message edited by: Kingy ] Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Baking isnt really that fun of a time waster unless your good at it, and I most certaintly am not (although you may be). I would reccomend, rather than baking, getting baked. It makes doing nothing so much more fun and occasionally makes you think your doing something when you're doing nothing. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Personally I think this country has more of a rep for stoners etc. Also we were the first country to make drugs out of household products. I think thats one hell of a reputation. I think Jeff will lose a lot of sales from plain prejudice. I will give it a try although I do doubt that I'll buy the full version. Who knows, we might be surprised and it might be absolutely brilliant. But from where I'm sitting it seems like a slim chance. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I just sent an email to Jeff about how the two series should be kept seperate. I feel that if someone wants to play Geneforge they play Geneforge and if they want to play Avernum they should be greeted with an Avernum game, rather than a hybrid. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I spy with my little eye something beginning with Geneforge. I'd say that this game will ruin the Avernum series for me. Hopefully I'm wrong but this game looks to have far more geneforge than Avernum. And Geneforge was most definitly not my kind of game. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

#19. Wow. Considering that's a good chuck of my posts (96) I think I did pretty well. At this rate I might actually end up hitting 1000. EDIT: Damn, it appears that's aprils. Now to have a look at July.... EDIT 2:Turns out I am looking at the right thing, it just has April 2005 at the top for some reason. I have a large scar on my hand from dropping a knife. Also a scar on my leg from someone throwing a rock at me and I had to get stitches. On my knuckles there is shiny bits becuase when I was like 10 I rolled down a hill in a barrel and skinned then pretty much to the bone. My knee/thumb/wrist are scarred from bad staph infections. For all of the stuff I've done I've come out reletivly unhurt. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
