I think invisibility would have to be one of my my wishs. Imagine all the possibilitys. Also invincibility. And possibly super human strength. But the problem with that is you could end up being to powerful and break things/people without intending to. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

quote:I am a christian but I have to disagree with this. Even in the bible there was killing of people who had done wrong and there are definitly people this world could do without. If someone is willing to direct attacks against unarmed people then they don't deserve to live. I think that the ones who are causing it should die, not nessisarily the ones doing it. Just because a soldier is ordered to do something for his country does not mean that he is at fault. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I don't see why people are apposed to guns. As some famous guy said "Guns don't kill people. People kill people". As long as you arn't intending to kill someone else there is nothing wrong with them. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Personally I feel that A2 was the best game. It just seemed to drag you into it way more. I spent many, many days addicted to that game. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Personally I prefered Mad Ambition to Bahssikava, but both are good scenarios in their own rights and I can see why they chose Bahssikava. Congrats to Kel for getting 1st and 3rd. And not that TM is going to read it but it was a damn good scenario and I can't wait for the next thing by him. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I'm Kingy. Everyone of my friends call me Kingy, they allways have. My real name is Ryan. But personally I have never liked that name. I'm 15, I am 5th form at high school (my second high school year, my 11th year at school). I enjoy video games, namely rpgs, physical things like boxing, motorcross, and making videos consisting of us doing stupid things, just to prove we can. Ultimatly though, I'm a country hick through and through. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Runescape is terrible. It's boring and plotless as was mentioned earlier. It is also filled with high level people who think they are really great and many, many people who are scammers. Also the humor (or attempt at) in some places is just terrible. With a good community it could possibly scrape in as a decent game, but until then I'd rather allow my testicles to be ran over by rush hour traffic than play it. Can't buy pistols over the counter. Although bombs, napalm and pretty much any type of gun can be made with equiptment from home anyway. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
They'd be getting their guns (more difficult in Australia)
Is it really that difficult? Over here where I live almost everyone has a gun and many make substitiutes for the ones they don't have. Here in New Zealand pistols are hard to come by and its really only the police that have them. Shotguns are the most common and small calibre rifles after that. Explosives arn't very common. Naturally with the lack of range people start making their own just to see if they can. A friend of mine made one that is quite common, a frozen orange launcher. It could fire a good 100 - 200m, was made out of pipe and could pierce through a car. We made short fuse pistols with pipe and firewroks. Also there was a flame thrower made by a Kiwi on Something Awful a while back. The link is somewhere around here.....Curses. It seems it was taken down. Anyway it was brilliant and had a huge flame. They tested it out in broad daylight in an area that wasn't used to much and no-one really minded. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Yea, Rugby is my thing. I just love rucking people (for those of you who don't know what rucking is, it consists of scraping people with spiked boots on their arms, legs, back etc when they are covering the ball, or close enough to look like they are). I started liking Avernum 2 and then I went to school one day to discover someone had downloaded it onto the computer. I found out who it was a few days later and I have had someone outside of these boards to discuss Spiderweb games with since. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I keep any game I register from spiderweb on my hard-drive. The games that I have registered are Avernum 1,2, and BoA. They are all deserving of a place on my start menu (being a windows user), but that doesn't really mean much as it has nearly 100 things on it. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Is it just me or are these figures a little dodgy? image [Thuryl's EDIT: Image converted to URL to restore browser sanity.] If you can't see what I'm on about have a look at the second box. I'm sure 68, 48 and 41 don't equal 100. Also the top one only equals 99 but I'm guessing that's just rounding. For your cd-drive, if you can't get it to work, as a last ditch effort you could get a firmware update. It could fix it, or if it's working turn it into an expensive paperweight. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Someone could just create a Vahnatai graphic and change the program slightly so even if he doesn't include them we can still use them. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
