quote:Yea, that happened to me when I first got it. Just leave it for a while and then go back to it and it will draw you in and you will begin to love it. Thats what happened with me, I began taking days off of school to play it. It was really addictive when I got into it but I couldnt play it once I beat the main mission as it bored me. I have once again began to play it and it has drawn me in once more so chances are school wont be seeing me for a while. Also FFVIII is probably my favourite one of them. It was great fun although I only got most of the way through the third disk. I loved the cutscenes and that card game was great. Also the plot wasnt that bad and was enough to draw me in eventually. I'd love to see a scenario where we can play as the evil side. It'd be nice for a change rather than allways trying to save stuff and do good things for everyone. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

The Pointless But Hilarious Quest 8-Bit-Theatre The Order Of The Stick My favourite would have to be 8-bit-theatre as that allways makes me laugh, and the next would be the pointless but hilarious quest which most of the time has something funny and there are alot of brillant ones that are the best I've read. Usually it's only just "good" though and thats why its my second favourite. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I'd have to say Avernum 2 (not trying to suck up or anything) and then it'd be Morrowind (that game was brilliant)and after that probably Diablo 2. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I think that quite a few beatles songs are good but theres not much point naming them as I have only one real favourite. That favourite song, which is brilliant, is - While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Edit: that better? [ Monday, July 11, 2005 23:21: Message edited by: Kingy ] Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

It's amazing how the guy can turn a book about fighting squirrels etc into a realistic and believable thing. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

If it was Avernum 2 it'd be a surefire win but, although Avernum 1 was good, Nethergate wins out of those 2. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

It's incredibly easy to come across registration codes for even small and unknown games like these. In fact just lately I've been having trouble not coming across sites that contain them. I'm sure that if they're this easy to come across, many people will be tempted to just use the keygens. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

You've also got to think that there will be an additional 5-10% of people that don't buy but instead pirate the games. It's not a nice fact but it's true. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

quote:Naaaaaa. The first one is pretty damn good, I'll admit that, but after that it just turns to rubbish. It seems to me that they were hastily put together and not much effort was put in. The second two had little moments in them but just didn't seem all that great. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Ah, Mossflower. That might actually be my second favourite as it is the one that got me into the series. Also it really doesn't matter what order you read them in. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

I remember last Guy Falks (Our big fireworks event) me and a bunch of mates went to the beach and opened up one of those big fireworks that shoots like 50 little balls and put individual fuses in each one and had our own little war. It was funny to be sitting around thinking yourself safe only to see a flaming stick fly over and shoot at you. Someone got hit in the head from 1 metre and got knocked over. Ah the fun. What pisses me off the most is that these were people that would have never caused any harm. They're not even trying to attack military targets. They fight like cowards, attacking and then fleeing back to their holes in the sand, not bothering to stand and fight like men. WWI and WWII were the best (not saying that war and death are good) in the fact that the enemy was fighting fairly. Sure they may not have been great people but they didn't just blow themselves up in the midst of innocent people and then wait for chaos to ensue. They stood and fought with some honor. I just found a game that's quite fun, and is a mix of WOW and Diablo 2. It's called Fate Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |
