I decided Zeviz would not be the only one to lower the bar. As I've often read in a certain moderator's sig, Bandwagons are fun! ;)

I've given the community the option to "pick their poison," effectively. Voting will officially end Sunday at 7 AM, Board Time.

Choose wisely.

Sing whichever song you enjoy singing, but I voted for the Spam Song just for the sake of doing so.

The Oompa Loompa song.

OOMPA LOOMPA, DOOMPADAH DEE
IF YOU ARE WISE YOU'LL LISTEN ME

WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL COME OF THAT
I DON'T LIKE THE LOOK OF IT
OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DAH
IF YOU'RE NOT GREEDY YOU WILL GO FAR
YOU WILL LIVE IN HAPPINESS TOO
LIKE THE OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DO
DOOMPADEE DOO

What do you mean "The Oompa Loompa song"? Wasn't there four Oompa Loompa songs? Eight, if you count the versions from both movies.
Incidentally, I think the new one is much better than the old one. Much closer to the book.
"Good morning, starshine! The Earth says hello!"

Trogdor has a very limited range of notes. I don't think it would make a good choice. The SBSaoth version has "wicked dueling guitar solos", though.

I'll vote for all of them, sung with their verses (or even lines) intermixed for the most comical effect.

PS Where can I find the texts of all of these songs?

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

Although I really don't think this deserved a new topic, I voted for Unwell. It's a great song, not too difficult, but mainly dependant on the overall quality of the singer's voice rather than their range or flexibility.

I'll sing something if I can get my microphone to work...

You may have gotten more interesting results by making this open suggestion instead of poll. :P

I did not vote for the Spam Song on account of never hearing it before, but I looks I may hear it soon. Just make it an .mp3 file and not a .wav.

Are you referring to the song itself, or me posting it?

The song, of course.

I had forgotten how bad it actually is, but it would still be funny to hear someone sing it.

:P I only wonder how you'll sing the chorus, Slp006.
And please, could you add "Hi, I'm Slp006" or so to the record. I die of curiosity how to spell your name.

The results are in. I'll be singing the Spam Song very soon. It'll be posted on the boards later today or tomorrow depending on when I shake off this infernal drowsiness.

That song requires some zeal, no?
