Maybe this is a dumb question (I didn't actually read the license) but why is BoE still for sale if it's open-source? -------------------- My Myspace, with some of my art The Lyceum - The Headquarters of the Blades designing community The Louvre - The Blades of Avernum graphics database BoE Webring - Self explanatory They Might Be Giants - Four official websites for one of the greatest bands in existence Posts: 2957 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I'm still not so sure about that. I'm pretty sure I've seen ??? item abilities in a few scenarios on Ormus's port. Are you sure you weren't using the latest version, which is buggy? I use the version before he rearranged the file structure. In this version, the scenarios still go in the BLADSCEN folder, among other things.

I stand corrected. quote:I bought a 7 oz. (198g) can. In 2 oz, there are 180 Calories, 140 of which are derived from fat. There are 790mg of sodium and 40 mg of cholesterol. Of the 16g of fat, 6 are saturated fat. 1g of carbohydrates, 7g of protein, 2% daily value of iron. Straight from the can, it tastes similar to Deviled Ham, only less spiced. Tasty, but Deviled Ham is cheaper and tastier. When fried in a pan on high heat (no greasing necessary, plenty of that right in the SPAM), it became rather delicious. I ate the entire contents of the can with no ill effects, aside from the obvious nutritional problems. Would I eat SPAM again? Yes, I would. Would I eat SPAM again before I lose the extra 40-50 lbs of fat I've managed to pack on since the summer of 2006? Hopefully not.

I don't have a can handy, but Wikipedia says "The labelled ingredients in the Classic variety of Spam are: chopped pork shoulder meat with ham meat added, salt, water, sugar, and sodium nitrite to help "keep its color"." I tried it once. It was very tasty, but also very salty and fatty, so by the time I finished the can I was nauseous. Of course, I'm not sure you're supposed to finish an entire can by yourself in one sitting anyway.

*pounds head through desk* You mean there are still people who haven't realized that's TM? If the thinly veiled vitriol sprinkled throughout his obviously fake politesse, enthusiasm for BoA, hatred of Nicothodes, and concern for the proletariat didn't make it blindingly obvious to everyone, I don't know what could have made it more so. EDIT: TM denies it, but I still think it's him. I am a fan of XKCD, Perry Bible Fellowship (which unfortunately is now on a "when-he-feels-like-it" production schedule), and Zippy The Pinhead. I don't regularly read any of them, however. I never said he was imposing his beliefs on anyone. Stating them in a rude way, perhaps, but not imposing. I give him credit for that. I don't mean any offense, Mystic, since you're generally cool. I should have kept my mouth shut, since it was rude and you can speak for yourself. I apologize. My statement about the FSM is separate and still stands, however. ARRGH! EDIT: Agreed, Salmon. It's "sinful". Mystic is a religious Christian of some sort, IIRC. The Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't discriminate on the basis of gender identity, at least.
