Phy Ed: B Choir:A English:B Government:A All of my classes, with the exception of government, are insanely boring, but I never have homework and most classwork is easy so I guess that makes up for it. Hopefully whatever class replaces Phy Ed at the end of the quarter (Just about three weeks from now) is at least slightly more interesting. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

When joining a different forum, it accepted none of the names I chose at first, and it rejected about a dozen different names before I found one it would accept. Since I didn't want to use my first name, uncapatilized, I changed my name to Error: invalid username as a comment on the forums inacceptance of almost any names. (It turned out that the forum refused to accept any names that consisted of anything but letters, and you could only change your name to include spaces and symbols after registering) Eventually, I shortened it to Error, and the name stuck. Since a few people here say got their names from typing random letters and adding and removing letters, I decided to try it, and here's what I got. Opkam7, Kaxacif, Xasdignahm, Sros, Ewriu, Ipcvu, Onmren, Hyaliw, Retvibh, Rteyiu Looking at my results, I'm suprised you came up with good names. If anyone wants those names (I wouldnt know why, but I suppose its possible) they can have them, because I sure won't ever use them. Yes, Galactic Core is a wiffle ball by comparison, but it's an extra-dimensional wiffleball, filled with endless needle-ferret destruction. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I don't get it. What you seem to be saying is that Alex preferring heterosexuality would lead people to think that all homosexuals would prefer heterosexuality. However, I don't see this happening among any but the incredibly stupid. If a blond person died their hair because they thought they would be happier with brown hair, no one would leap to the conclusion that all blonds should have their hair died. Three lawyers and three engineers went on a buisness trip by train. The lawyers bought three tickets, but the engineers bought only one. Suprised, the lawyers asked how the engineers planned to travel with only one ticket. The engineers simply told them to watch. As the lawyers wached, all three engineers crowded into the bathroom. Soon, the conductor came by, knocked on the door, and said, "Ticket please!". The door opened a little bit, and a hand came out and handed the conductor a ticket. On the trip back, the lawyers bought one ticket, but this time, the engineers didn't buy any. The lawyers asked how the engineers planned on travelling without any tickets. This time the engineers just said, "you'll find out". Both groups entered the train, and each one crowded into a different bathroom. Once the lawyers had shut the door, one of the engineers left the bathroom and walked over to the other one. Then, he knocked on the door and said, "Ticket please!' Edit: 250 posts! The Taskmaker games are some of my favorite RPGs. I have been playing them for a long time, and I have beaten both of them. At one point I even started to design a large dungeon for TotT, but it was lost when my main computer switched from an iMac G3 running OS9 to an iMac G5 running OSX. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

60. Why did Error create a questions thread, although he knew of the existence of the FAQ? Because in the FAQ, you can only ask questions if you can also answer them. We need one of these. Basically, people who have questions about Ricard White and his following ask them here, and you will recieve either answers or propaganda, depending on the answerer's implants. My questions are, was Jeff Vogel always a supporter of White, or just an unknowing distributor? Do White's already released games serve a purpose besides that of any other game, and if so what? Also, what porportion of White's sides are violent towards the whole like Black? And what exactly is Richard Grey like? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I do not normally participate in these topics, but seeing as it has yet to degenerate into a screaming argument, I will make an exception. Sorry if a lot of this is said already, but I'm going to take a while since I'm not used to putting my beliefs into words. 1. Liberal, mostly, although I do have a few beliefs that are more conservative. 2.Disagree. I won't elaborate, since my views match up with pretty much everyone else's here. If you want to know what I think about this, just read Muji's post. 3. I'm not going to say much on this, because I'm not too certain about it. Personally, I'd never support it, but I am currently uncertain about what role the government should take in it. 4. I think it should be allowed, as long as it's just government marriages and churches have the right to accept or deny it depending on what beliefs they support. Churches should not be saying that homosexuality is wrong, then conducting homosexual marriages, and they should not be changing thier views on homosexuality just because of popular opinion. If it's just legal marriage, I don't care, since the religious aspects are removed. Outlawing homosexuallity is a bad idea, even from the religious point of view. If it is outlawed, there wouldn't be any more homosexual behavior (at least none legally), but dislike of Christianity would rise, since the dislike of homosexuallity is almost entirely Christian. I don't know about others, but in my religion following our beliefs means nothing if you're bieng forced to and hating it. 5. Scientifically, no. Overall, yes, but that's mostly because I'm Christian. 6. Perhaps not in as much detail, but yes, it should be mentioned. 7. Probably not. People would get paid more, but the prices of things would rise, so in the end it would be the same to people getting minimum wage, and worse for people getting paid more than the new minimum wage. 8. Lower 25%. Anything else doesn't really make much sense. Rich people have much more extra income, while poor people usually need a larger amount of thier income to support themselves. 9. I don't know much about this, so I won't say anything. I don't have time to finish, it's 11:47 pm here and my parents just got home from a concert. In short, environment laws= good. Isn't it obvious? He has the opportunity to name a network of computers, so he is naming them after wizards from the Dying Earth books, which are written by Jack Vance. He wants us to suggest which names he should use. Since I doubt most people here have read the Dying Earth series, I don't think he will get many suggestions. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I can play it on my Mac just fine, that's not a problem. However, I want to play it on the Tapwave Zodiac. There is really only one good media player for the Zodiac, and it doesn't support AAC. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I also have a media conversion question. http://psp.weebls-stuff.com/ has several videos I wish to play on the Tapwave Zodiac. However, the audio codec is AAC, which it will not play. Also, my video encoder (ffmpegx) is incapable of reincoding the audio as MP3, and Macs have too few free encoders for me to want to try and find another. Does anyone know how I can get the same movies, with MP3 audio? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

From reading this, it seems like it's largely an excuse for Thralni to play with chemicals. :D I have no particular favorite color, but some colors I prefer are orange, green and black. I eat no food particularly frequently, except school food. I'm interested in computers, and my two favorite computers are the iMac G5 and the Tapwave Zodiac. I also like art, particularly drawing and origami. I have no recent dreams that I can remember well enough to tell. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

Absolutely nothing. My wallet is lying empty in a drawer somewhere, my money (I don't have much just a couple of fives and some change) is on my dresser, my student ID is in the pocket of the jeans I wore yesterday, and I don't really have anything else that I would put in a wallet. My wallet is pretty much worthless, to the point where I find it easier to not use it. It's one of those magic wallets, which I bought because it was cheap and I needed a wallet. Now when it's closed, the two halves are off by about 45 degrees, which looks wierd and is inconvenient. i have a money clip, so I can usually just use that, and i only got a student id yesterday, so it'll be a while before I get a new one. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

When I click on it, the proper URL flashes on the top for a second, and then it quickly switches to http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic%3bf=1%3bt=00 2847 , which leads to a blank window. However, right clicking and choosing to download it works fine. I agree with Thralni; it's good but it could use more bass.
