You must not be listening to a big variety of music. IMHO, bad music outnumbers good music at least 10 to one.

Hello and welcome. Does anyone besides me notice all the new people here(myself included)? Is it just coincidence, or is it the mind control kicking in? It's probably just caused by the fact that you're new here for the first thousand posts or so.
EDIT:punctuation

All mammals dream, at least all the mammals that they've tested to see if they dream.(I have no idea how they test things to see if they dream, but they are able to do so.) So dreaming isn't neccisarily a sign of conciousness, unless all mammals are concious, which I doubt. I think dreaming is just some side effect of some other brain function, but that's just my opinion and some scientist somewhere probably studied it and knows what really causes dreaming.

I heard about a study they did regarding that, they injected some nasty chemicals into fish, and it was pretty obvious that they felt it.

Not going to the doctor is a bad idea. Once I fractured my wrist and just thought it was a particularly bad sprain for a week, if I had gone to the doctor sooner, it would probably have healed a lot faster.

Since this is an art thread I will post my art. I was drawing this in class with an ordinary pencil while not really paying attention, and it is captured with a cheap digital camera, so it is not my best work but when I finish it I will upload a similar drawing that is better later.(and, using an actual scanner)

Life for a cow is probably better in captivity than in the wild(if there is such a thing as a wild cow anymore). Bieng killed by is is a lot more humane than bieng killed by a predator or a disease, which causes a much longer and more painful death. And they probably would be killed by a predator or a disease in the wild, if not by starvation, unless the predator population is suffering, the food was plentiful, and something happened to all the diseases. Wether or not cows would enjoy it more in the wild or an organic farm is hard to tell, as it's very hard to impossible to tell what animals like to do, and for the most part, cows don't seem to want anything they don't need.

It's kind of hard to say why anythings funny, I mean, look at puns. how come words that sound the same are funny(to some people at least)? The kind of humor shown here is the kind describes an event that is funny in theory, but in reality would be anywhere between annoying and tragic. I usually think of this as cartoon humor, because it's used alot in cartoons. Someone should study humor, because when you think about it, most of it doesn't make sense and I'd like to know why funny things are funny.
Edit:Yay! fifty posts! A long way until I get close to anyone else, though.

The test is on everything I have learned in Spanish this year, so basically everything in Spanish I know. It's a week long, and in it, we have to write a letter in Spanish, have a conversation in Spanish with the teacher(who has actually lived in South America and can speak the entire language) listen to people in Spanish and answer questions about it, and a lot besides that. I should be fine wihout help, I still have all the papers that I thought I might need that I got in the class, and although my Spanish is bad, that's to be expected as it's a low level Spanish class, and my Spanish is fairly good compared to my classmates.

I suppose if you treat rock music as a cultic form of worship where you express elemental passions it might be considered paganistic, but how many people do that? I ,at least, don't treat rock music any different than any other music I listen to (except for church music, and that's supposed to be a form of worship)

Im #43, not very good but higher on the list than I thought I would be. I'm probably not ever going to be anywhere near the top of the list, as i'm not very good at either spamming unobviously or constantly having something interesting and relevant to say. what's interesting is all the people on the list that posted less than me yet have hundreds or thousands of posts. Did a bunch of people leave just before I registered, or are there just lots of people that have been around for a long time but rarely post.

Taskmaker and Tomb of the Taskmaker are pretty good, even though they are pretty old, and since the company went bankrupt you can legally get the registration code on the internet if you look long enough.

Do not vote in the poll until there are several replies and you have read them!
I am bored, and I want to find something interesting on the internet. However,(for me at least) it is kind of hard to find something interesting on the internet if your'e not looking for something specific. So, I am starting this contest. Submit an good website, and give a brief description on it. The best websites are ones that are interesting or funny, and don't get boring quickly. Once there are many up, or one that you think no other website could possibly beat, vote for it. I submit:
http://www.snopes.com
This website tells wether or not urban legends, news stories, rumors going around the internet, etc. are true. It also contains some jokes, things that people sent into the website, and all sorts of interesting things.

In the beginning, it probably will just be used for tv, and until tv broadcasts record more than just video and audio, feeling, taste and scent will probably be leftt out.
