Why don't you just use google? If you can't find anything by about page five, you can assume that even if something does exist, it's probably not really that good if it's before page five. I was going to sign up, but it rejected my username-and it was the same username I have now. I ought to actually think up a good username. School's out, so I should have plenty of time. I'll probably need time, as I'm not very good at thinking up names. The username I have now was never really meant to be permanent, as I have been planning on replacing it since I created this account and just used Evil_TiM because I couldn't think of anything better at the time. The only time I ever saw people with Magic cards was once during or just before when I was in kindergarten I saw a kid with a deck of magic cards, and in about second grade on the bus another kid gave me one (some minor card) when he found out it was my birthday. I was probably too young to like it during the time period that it had any popularity at all. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I wouldn't think so, as it just looks like something built into the UBB and not something that looks editable. Also, if it was editable, I'm sure it would have been edited before, but there's nothing Spiderweb specific in there to signify that its been edited. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I actually read the CoC today. It's amazing how often it's violated, with every offtopic post (so about 90% of all posts here) and just about every debate bieng a violation. I have yet to read the FAQ, as I haven't found it yet. Could someone point out it's location to me? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I'm sure I remember from way back when I was about 5, playing a zelda game that looked similar to the gameboy versions. It was not on a handheld system, and from what I remember of playing Mario on the same thing, it looked like NES. However, I distinctly remember it had the same top view as the gameboy games, and the graphics were about the same as gameboy. Anyone have any ideas what this might be? Edit: This was probably around 1996, although I'm not sure what the exact year was. I know I was missing school at the time, since I was visiting relatives in a different state and my parents decided not to leave at the end of the weekend, so I had to be at least 5. What was the first zelda that switched from bieng mostly side-scrolling to mostly the overhead view, and what platform was it on.? Also I've seen zelda for NES, and I've seen zelda for SNES and I doubt the programmers went straight from the first to the second, so what system did most of the advances between the two appear on, gameboy? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

Is it there?(FAQ or COC) I ought to read those, as summer break has started and I have time for such things. If it isn't there, it should go there. There really is nothing much to be said about this topic's original topic that I see, except what I said and maybe there's something to be said about the canning of TM, although most of what could be said has been said. Now that I think of it, many good topics start out like that (with not much to say about them), so I should probably be less quick on asking for locks for topics. While I'm writing this, I'll post an idea I had that is interesting but doesn't deserve it's own thread. Since the major things of this board seem to be insanity and debates, why not a debate on an insane topic? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

Yes, i understand what it means, but why was it mentioned? I doubt Dolphin just mentioned the match because the conversation is about custom titles. It sounds like the response to a question or statement, but I'm not sure wether it applies to my statement, as in I can't think of any custom title I've seen that I wouldn't prefer to no title, except canned or banned. Drakey's K and A matching comes to mind. or something else instead of the first statement. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

An expaination of the meaning of Canned should be put somewhere where people will see it. I was thinking that the CoC would be a good place, but it seems a lot of people that come to these boards don't read that anyway. I never did, since it's pretty easy to not get in trouble if you just use common sense. Oh, and this thread should be locked unless someone wants to say someting relating to my post. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

Moderators seem to be people who signed up early as much as contributers, seeing as some moderators rarely do things here, although I don't doubt that they did at one point. Custom titles and thier recipients/non-recipiants seem to be as much who Drakey likes and hasn't asked for one as contributors. Also, see the edit to my above post if you haven't noticed it yet. Oh, and what's Drakey's K and A matching comes to mind in relation to what? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

I would think any custom title, White Rabbit included, is better than no custom title, although I would probably change my mind pretty quickly if given a bad one. Banned and canned are the only custom titles I've seen that I thought would be worse than no custom title. I want it to be certain though, that nothing I say, now or ever, should be seen as a request for a custom title. Even though I would like a custom title, I don't really think anyone deserves a custom title if they have less than a few thousand posts, with the exception of people who deserve banned and canned. EDIT: Post count and contribution, I mean. I thought contribution didn't really need to be said, since it's kind of obvious, and I don't see anyone bieng able to contribute enough to earn a custom title in less than a few thousand posts. Any addiction to spiderweb I have is probably minor, as missing a day merely made me feel annoyed. Oh, and 2-3 what, posts a day, or visits a day? Edit: Now that I think about it, posts a day doesn't make sense with your post number and registration date.
