I wouldn't call it nonsense. Nothing indicates that this belief is correct, but nothing indicates that it is incorrect, either.

However, it is somewhat simpler to believe that death is complete unconsciousness.

This entire discussion has become inane. Furthermore, while no beliefs about the afterlife are any more demonstrably true than any others, some are less internally consistent or just plain more ridiculous than others.

—Alorael, who can understand Stug's unhappiness. Furry reincarnation shows all signs of being an adaptation of Hindu reincarnation, only it is, well, furry. If someone did that to your religion you might be a little upset as well.

I am so sure I'll regret asking this, but (ulp): What the heck is a furry?

Thanks. Can't say I'm much of a furry myself, but it really doesn't seem so bad.

Art thread... um art threat... while I am a furry, and will joyfully discuss it with anyone interested, this is about my art, so in your curiousity, at least add something a little revelant to that as well :P

It seems to me that if this thread stayed on its original topic for more than a page it would be a historic first. Wandering off onto furriness in general should not be construed as disrespect for the original theme.

Since Ezrah mentioned furries in his very first post, I wouldn't say it has strayed that far off-topic.

Yes, that's me. In the photo thread, I was revealed to be none other than Bill in disguise - so I now wear this name openly. :P

Since this is an art thread I will post my art. I was drawing this in class with an ordinary pencil while not really paying attention, and it is captured with a cheap digital camera, so it is not my best work but when I finish it I will upload a similar drawing that is better later.(and, using an actual scanner)

Is your drawing really so poor that talking about putting it back online would constitute an art threat?

Hmm. I didn't even notice that misspelling, but now that you mention it.. yes, it probably would. You should ask Khoth about it; he's seen it. And lived.

EDIT: And I read it so many times before posting... -_-

I understand from Khoth that it is not so much the art that is a threat but the fact that Riibu has drawn it.

It's not the sun, it's her deity!
Here, part of my explanation to Edwin. I'm lazy, and it's easier to copy/paste.

quote:
Storykeepperi: Right, here we are, and.. ta-da! http://gamma.nic.fi/~ribla17/elfmagechick.jpg
KhothMk2: I didn't think the special box was quite so literal
Storykeepperi: I couldn't draw it better :P
Storykeepperi: I would've made it a fancy chest, but..
KhothMk2: And what's with her poor hands?
Storykeepperi: I couldn't draw them nice. She has, um... robotic hands, now.
Storykeepperi: And that is not something she summoned, it's her deity.
KhothMk2: I thought it was the sun
Storykeepperi: Matearilised as a big glowing head without an actual face.
Storykeepperi: Yes, sun sun, but inside a building?
KhothMk2: I thought it was outdoors
Storykeepperi: Well, it's not. It's a room, and there's an archway leading somewhere else. See?
Storykeepperi: It's got columns or both sides
Storykeepperi: *on
KhothMk2: Oh yeah, I thought it was a hill with an arch thing on top
Storykeepperi: Also, the round things on the floor are tiles. Decorative.
Storykeepperi: weird hill :/
Storykeepperi: anyway, doodle :-)

Sometimes I write stories. Sometimes I get bored and doodle in Paint.
