Do not vote in the poll until there are several replies and you have read them!
I am bored, and I want to find something interesting on the internet. However,(for me at least) it is kind of hard to find something interesting on the internet if your'e not looking for something specific. So, I am starting this contest. Submit an good website, and give a brief description on it. The best websites are ones that are interesting or funny, and don't get boring quickly. Once there are many up, or one that you think no other website could possibly beat, vote for it. I submit:
http://www.snopes.com
This website tells wether or not urban legends, news stories, rumors going around the internet, etc. are true. It also contains some jokes, things that people sent into the website, and all sorts of interesting things.

Doing the best job to date of combining political debate, mmorpg and play-by-post roleplaying/storytelling in almost any genre.

A poll without this website in it is not a real poll. A poll with it is not a fair poll.

I like these forums, and GameFAQs.com (you know, for the walkthrus) or GameWinners.com (you know, for the cheats)
and also the websites for the other games I play (i.e. WarCraft 3, Age Of Empires, WarCraft 2, Total Annihilation and others.)

Oh well. Every-one has to learn about editing. I remember when I was told that. I think Alorael told me. Or Aran.

On topic: Another website I should post as well would be the Queens of The Stone Age website.

Its a website for the band Queens of The Stone Age, and I am listening to them now as a matter of fact.

this thread totally needs a twin, maybe "bad websites" or, to sound a little less harsh, "not so good websites"

anyway:

Replacement Docs seriously, who has time and muse to keep all their manuals nearby at all times?

All Your Early Hominid Needs Is that a hand axe in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? My bad, you aren't wearing any pants

come & sing along the lyrics site as far as dark and / or obscure bands are concerned

coming to think about it, those are rather boring. sheesh...

http://gnucleus.com/ There are many such tools, this is just one of them. Works well enough to download stuff.

http://www.eldritchdark.com/ I don't think many people will find this that interesting. It's website for Clark Aston Smith.

http://www.theeldergeek.com/ This is a site for problems with Windows XP.

http://salon.com/ It's like a beauty salon, only not.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/ The name says what it is.

http://www.subgenius.com/ Because some times you're confused and may need some spiritual guidance.

http://www.timezoneconverter.com/ The most useful website in the world.

The Hollywood Stock Exchange is a fun game to play and a nice place to hang out. You can also get lots of info on all the movies coming out or planned for filming. Real time chat is nice, too.

EDIT: if you decide to sign up it'd be awful nice of you to credit me for a referal... 'trhedlund'

Edit again: Oh, yeah... Then there's also the best blog in the entire net...

Sometimes known as WWdN

He can sometimes have a bit of a potty mouth on him, but scroll down to April 13 for a great example of what it's all about.
