Bought so far (all for Windows):
BoE
Exile Trilogy
A1 & A2
G1 (twice, though I'm not quite sure how), G2 & G3

Planning to buy A3, A4, BoA, & G4 eventually

Also, I would've liked to at least tried Galactic Core, since I've seen similar games, but I don't have either a Mac computer or a Mac emulator.

Getting back on topic, if you're looking for a SubTerra message board, there's one here. Several other games are featured there as well.

Exactly my point in nearly all cases. That, and my download speed is mind-numbingly slow. (Please don't ask, you really don't want to know.)

It shouldn't matter. The same save file will work in any Windows version. Barring Microsoft's vain attempts to make the interface prettier & easier, for the most part, Windows is Windows is Windows is Windows.

Resistance isn't an an ability, it's a skill, like strength or intelligence. And considering the number of special skills you can pick up along the way, what Schrodinger described is probably what happened.

I only order the games on CD.

You should get your CD in about a week, maybe two at most, from when you sent out the order. If you gave an email address, Jeff will send you an email confirming your order. You should then be able to just send your registration code(s) with a reply email.

I always get the games on CD, so they're already registered. This gives me a ready-made backup, just in case.

No need to download except for the original Nethergate and I think Blades of Avernum to get the full version.
You'd have to download BoE, not BoA; BoA has a registration code.

Try playing with some disadvantages to get a high XP bonus. I've done this in A1, so it should work for A2 too.

From a cursory glance at the A5 website, my guess is that A5 will have a final ending too.

It's insanely easy to do something like that in all of Spiderweb's games--except maybe E1 & E2. No matter which game I play, I always set up a cache for stuff I don't need right away, but don't want to sell (especially if said items might be useful).

Actually, only the G4 saves are in "My Documents." In G1-G3, they're in each game's "Data" folder.

Sorry for the superfluous topic; I just couldn't bear it any more.

It's what I call the "Curse of the Fat-Fingered Fiend," more commonly known as a typo. My guess it that people can't be bothered to fix the error, or just don't notice it.

If you can't afford it, don't steal it.

Back in the day, I was a real freeware junkie--still am, though to a much lesser degree. You'd be amazed at how many goodies you can obtain without theft.

Ah yes, that thread...

As I said there, I don't bother to capture anything, since my spell-heavy playing style already eats more than enough of my spell points.

I don't bother with either one. Alwan is just too blindly loyal to the shapers, and Greta seems to question my every move.

Same here, although I can get quite far with a singleton that has both the "Fast on Feet" and "Natural Mage" traits. (I almost defeated Grah-Hoth this way.)

Buy and play Blades of Avernum then, and don't let Kelandon see this.

I plan to buy it later this year, after I first register A3.

I've long since downloaded the Bahssikava scenario, and skimmed through a little bit of it, so I know the story already continues. Maybe Jeff could pick it up where Kelandon left off. Who knows?
