Not gaurdian. Seriously, why does everyone keep getting that wrong? I used to mispell guard constantly, but that was a few years ago...I've fixed the problem now :) Had to fix it, used to type it all the time in this old game called Avara, it had a simple level editor that you could use with Claris Works, so of course, text. Maybe someone should make the G5 editor based on this principle. Before they can claim their massive amounts of gold, they have to choose the correct spelling option of guardian. Before they claim an inventory full of uber-items, they have to admit that Blades of Geneforge is a terrible idea. And so on and so forth. Dikiyoba. I thought you could type in any language. And the boards would translate it into the language you see. That is...whatever language your computer is set to. I don't think it works if you try typing in a language your computer is not set to. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. quote:That would be interesting in it's way. I'd be quite impressed by a piece of software that not only manages to properly translate everything, but includes any and all typos too in a manner appropriate to the language, and also translates any of the so called leet speak to one appropriate to the language. I can imagine lots of little imps, living in the fibre optic cabling, who provide simultaneous translation for internet postings. That would be very Terry Pratchett. -------------------- "Blink and you're dead... Don't turn your back, don't look away and don't blink." Geneforge 4 stuff. You wouldn't need them if you just use a speech synthesizer to read the text so your babel fish can translate it for you. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Okay, this one thing has bothered me like hell for a while. What is FYT? FMT? And many others used here? I would also like to say on how using r and u is stupid. I once read a piece of paper that used "r", and it confused me. Two people laughed. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. And I am well aware of the fact that "ignorant" means "without knowing", and is not to be an insult. So don't let me be ignorant and tell me what is means. I think I do, but an exact definition would be nice. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity.
