So, Kelandon, I don't know what's up with me, the Bahssikava series, and unhandled exceptions, but I just got one in Exodus. It happened in Thanopolen Tower during the cutscene after killing the chief. It worked fine before that point. I haven't tried redownloading or even replaying the fight, but from my experience with the ones I got in Bahssikava, they occur consistently. I'm running Windows XP. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Fortunately, the scenario still looks like it can be completed. Dikiyoba left the tower before the combat, set a SDF manually, and walked back to camp. The scenario has been progressing normally from there. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Did he eat a shark? Blue? Or is he the Chosen-One-That-Isn't-But-Will-Have-Been-By-Next-Tuesday? Perhaps it is best that our mortal minds don't know the real answer. Dikiyoba. I wasn't so bothered by the levels as much as I was by the lack of distinction between "dungeons" and "outdoors". For instance, the bulk of the section with the hostile half-blood nephil leader or whatever he was felt really empty, considering that it was supposed to be the nephil's camp. Then I entered the next section, which I thought should be fairly empty because I've passed the blockade, and I tripped over nephilim left and right. There wasn't enough anticipation for and respite from the battles. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Nioca: quote:What are you talking about? You do not want a zombie to represent you should you ever get accused of a crime. All they can say is "Braaains!" That's just not good at convincing the jury that you're innocent. Plus, the smell of decay in a crowded courtroom? Definitely not a good thing. Dikiyoba. Somehow, I missed most of the posts in this topic until now. How did that happen? Anyway, Dikiyoba will second Randomizer's suggestions for mass haste and G4's inventory/encumbrance system. (Dikiyoba hasn't seen it yet, but Dikiyoba disliked the A4 inventory/encumbrance system, so no matter what the exact details are, it should be an improvement.) More slith and nephil graphics would also be nice. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Shapers, or at least the ones on Sucia Island, appear to have had a longer-than-average life span. Sucia Island was Barred about two hundred years before your character got stuck on it. The Shaper Crypt was built about a century later by the original researchers. And they were already probably pretty old, by the time they completed their apprenticeship and worked themselves up into administrative positions. Whether that means all Shapers naturally live that long or whether that was the result of canister use is up for debate. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I'm guessing the call is alter_stat([# of stat to change],[# to change it by]); but I haven't seen the game yet, so you'll have to search through the scripts for it to double check and to find out what number the mechanics skill is. Or you could just replay the game and give your new character more mechanics this time around. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

They've already killed your cat and now they're coming after you. Back on topic, Chapter 18: Drakefyre's Plan is done. It's long and maybe a little boring. Also, for Chapter 19, Dikiyoba needs to know what Tyranicus's favorite weapons and shields are and why. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Let's see... normally, I destroy it. There's been a few times where I helped Trajkov, though. Once, Dikiyoba's character used the Geneforge and then Dikiyoba had the character's fyora attack him to see what would happen. He died instantly.
