I actually do both. It's called diversifying.

Bah. Intentional double posting is for losers.

(Unless it's to bump an old thread or for responding to two separate posts that would result in a massive post if combined, but let's not get bogged down in the petty details, okay?)

A. Erm... Sure, I'll get right on it. Just go ahead and post here, one of my lackeyes will help you.
*raises hand* Excuse me, but I have a few questions.

1. Why are you doing this? Surely there is some motivation besides your dislike of people and their constant stupid questions.

2. When did a turnip become a fruit?

3. Could you please put spaces between the questions so it's easier to read? (And perhaps bold the questions as well.)

4. Why do you hate history?

I haven't had much experience with zero intelligence creations, mostly just the ones you can pick up in G2 with enough leadership. It's not bad, but there's nothing to be gained from it either. I put two intelligence into all my creations since I generally only make a few creations, so I have the essence to spare.

What do you mean "well-disguised"? He openly admits it.

Edit: Dikiyoba, unlike some people, is usually good at spelling and at not hitting the quote button instead of the edit button. However, Dikiyoba, unlike some people, frequently messes up quotes.

Dikiyoba thinks it's too soon to speak of such things. There's just no contest until someone comes within 1,000 posts of Alorael.

I'm reminded of a Grumpy Gamer column from years ago in which Jeff pointed out that games that demand a great deal of realistic but boring management (get a torch blunder around in the dark!) are no fun.
I remember coming across an Internet flash game once (I can't remember the name) that solved that problem by making the torch the weapon as well as the lighting. Letting the torch burn out meant blundering around in the dark away from all enemies. (Of course, it ruined some of the effect by having upgrades available. First, why are there shops in the middle of the wilderness selling torches? Second, what is a red torch and why is it better than a wooden one?)

Actually, I haven't played much of it yet. :P

So the moral is, opening data files and using Ctrl-F is faster than grep. Or else Dikiyoba got a head start.

Edit: Found location.

That helps. Now that we know it is seriously powerful, it narrows down the search possibilities.

It's from Exodus.

Dikiyoba could have sworn that Dikiyoba checked that before. Apparently not.

That's funny... I don't remember ever resolving to do any of those things. Especially not the "lose a hundred pounds" one. Given that it would drop my weight to about thirty pounds, it sounds like a really slow, painful way for me to die. :P

But it gives Dikiyoba a great idea. This New Year's, Dikiyoba will resolve to give up smoking. Dikiyoba doesn't smoke, so, provided that Dikiyoba doesn't spontaneously combust, it's a shoo-in!

Edit: Fixed quote.

Everyone loves the trees they know well. They just do.

Besides, there is a time and place for applied Tullegolite philosophy when dealing with trees. Between fire supression and regrowth after logging, some places just have too many trees. Someone needs to chop those excess weaklings down!

Easss and Rhakkus (and Akkat is the third one) are all located somewhere in Benerii-Uss (the Takers' research facilities). You'll meet them soon enough.

Then just do a search for the character you are looking for and see if what comes up jogs your memory, rather than reading through a whole lot.

That's what Dikiyoba had to do to remember who Berra was and where he was hiding.

You might need a slightly higher Fire Shaping skill than you would for a fyora as well.

I'm assuming that GIFTR are just like regular roaches in all aspects except for their size (and thus life span), intelligence, friendliness, and ability to talk. Therefore, their young go through incomplete metamorphosis and are called nymphs. (Search Wikipedia for Nymph (biology) for more information.)

Dikiyoba would link to the article directly, but UBB doesn't like the address. Wikipedia may be your friend, but UBB is not.

Berra is the wizard located in the library in the mage's area.

The Avernum 3 Walkthroughs should be helpful in locating characters, too.

Dikiyoba mourns the passing of a good gimmick.

I've accidentally done that before, only it was after poking around in the data file a bit. Changed all item graphics to bits of grass. It was kind of funny.
