Oh...

I liked your presence, your good argumentation but espacially your signatures, which at first confused me. I never really read signatures. You showed that there are exceptions to that rule.

Thanks for all you did, come back whenever you want. And if you aren't leaving but wanted to see how everybody thinks of you, then you are a bastard :) . Don't worry, you will be a nice bastard.

Goodbye. May the chickengods smile upon you for the last time.

Meh. The ferrets and the brew are too strong a pull to leave.

I'm not so sure... He hasn't made a single post today.

I believe that Alorael has indeed left our ranks.
You will be missed.

If this is true, it leaves a huge gap in the aura of spidweb.

I wonder what will become to fill that gap...

If not so even I do not know this member much, It will be sad to see such an active member to leave, for whateve rreason.

Alorael is male. As for separate accounts, you might be thinking of Salmon or Tyranicus.

Farewell to one of Spiderweb's most respected, thought-provoking, and lucid members. I, and others, certainly, would love if you stayed, but the choice is yours.

Farewell to Spiderweb's all-round top poster.
Does this mean there'll be moderator elections again?

Heaven forfend!
I sacrificed my sanity, integrity and peace of mind to get the right result in that election!
Alorael, get your sparkly rear end back on duty, sir!

Sparkly.

There are more things under the sun than can be dreamed by your philosophy. And a lot of what happens in the mod board you can do without knowing.

Oh god, one day without Alorael posting? I'm starting to panic... Hyperventilating... Apocalypse nigh...

Why is he leaving? Did Alaska secede? Has a shark eaten him? Has he eaten a shark?

Don't panic, Garrison. Stay calm, stay indoors, don't walk under any tall buildings, and you'll survive.

Who would not post for Lycidas? he knew
Himself to post, and build the lofty count.
He must not flote upon his watry bier
Unwept, and welter to the parching wind,
Without the meed of some melodious tear.

I listed some good things on Spiderweb. Spiderweb is not, however, a good thing. It is an evil and unholy thing, and therefore unlikely to end before the Forum of Unconscionably Large Number comes.

No, I'm not going anywhere. It's nice to know I'm loved, though, but the effect just isn't the same without Alec and TM giving a balancing perspective.

—Alorael, who lies continuously and shamelessly. It's a weakness unless you're a cynic, in which case it's perfect.

Why Alorael, it's almost as if you were phishing for compliments.

-X- is indifferent. If Alorael leaves, theres a lot less spam, but they lose a member with a very distinctive personality. If he's lying, -X- will laugh at the people who wanted him gone. If he's leaving, -X- will laugh at the people who want him back.

It's a win-win solution, there.

-X-'s EDIT - Oops. He posted before -X-. Shoot.

-X- most of Alorael's posts weren't spam. Unlike this one.

Well that's a relief, I'm glad I only just read this topic and thus was lef hanging only a couple of minutes although I already strongly suspected the post was deceptive (not neccesarily intentionally). Alorael, I only became aware of your existance like 4 months ago, maybe less, but I certainly would have missed you which just goes to show the effect you have on SSF members.
