That's funny. I just downloaded it and it worked fine for me. Oh, and Dikiyoba just looked at Dintiradan's site. Dikiyoba is offended by its "uselessness." :P Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Three of those four were created after this one. That's something to be concerned about to be sure, but it's not this thread's fault. And Dikiyoba doesn't think we're celebrating so much as we're reminiscing and teaching GoodCanisters new things. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

But what will you replace shaping with? Magic? There seems to be a lot of spells available to kill or dominate others, and that's with shaping already available. Technology? Read the newspaper and see what horrendous acts technology has allowed in our world. The point I'm trying to make is that anything can and will be used for atrocities, because some people (and intelligent creations, in this case) are atrocious. But everything, including shaping, can be used for good too. We see a lot of the horrendous side of shaping because it is a war. We don't see a lot of Shapers quietly modifying plants and animals to live in otherwise inhospitable areas, but they do that sort of stuff too. Originally by Thuryl: quote:Well, Dikiyoba does now. Originally by Retlaw May: quote:Plus, Healing Craft is listed under Shaping Skills on your character's statistics screen. :P However, that seems like something already developed that the Trakovites would allow, along with pods, batons, etc. Originally by Nioca: quote:That's one of Dikiyoba's favorite lines from the series. Jewels: Unrated BoE scenarios. Originally by Nioca: quote:Whereas you are 0 for 2. :P "The Tutorial for Echoes: Renegade Druids cause A Large Rebellion in Krell that results in an Exodus to Bahssikava was sadly lacking." Dikiyoba likes this one, even though guessing what this one is will be nearly impossible since it has nothing to do with the scenarios' content or ranking. It's probably the idea of druids in motorboats jeering at the local sliths. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Edit: I think I got yours, Jewels. Should I say what it is or leave Nioca in suspense? :P In the Cave of Dying Things, Lord Putidus is Babysitting Dallerdin's Rats. In A Perfect Forest, Chapman's Roses are growing Good on Point B. Nioca: they all feature underground caves. If Dikiyoba's right, it wasn't so difficult. If Dikiyoba's not, then it is. :P [ Wednesday, December 13, 2006 19:31: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It's intentional. The crime tolerance coding for that section is more complicated (and higher) than normal. Dikiyoba doesn't know the reason for it, though. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Synergy: quote:I realize it's rather unfair for me to become another person debating against you, but you have to understand that not everything in life can be colorful and vibrant and inspiring just as not everything in life can be scientific and cold and sterile. There's places for both creativity and the scientific method. If this were a discussion on, say, fine art, then subjectivity is totally appropriate and trying to apply the scientific method to it would be out of place. However, healthcare, especially on the widespread scale that most accepted drugs and other treatments take place on, is a place for the scientific method because when it comes down to preventing and curing diseases, positive results are important. An individual choosing to accept or refuse treatment (on whatever grounds, and you're welcome to do so) is one thing, but if 10,000 people get seriously sick from a disease every year, then we'd better be sure that treatment is helping them and helping them to the best of our abilities. That's why science is being so devoutly fought for here. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Okay, calm down (and don't double post). Once you have a Crystal Soul (and you can check your special items to make sure you have one or more): 1. Speak with the Council. They should tell you to go to the shrine. 2. Go to the guarded bridge that leads to the shrine. The vahnatai will get out of your way. 3. In the shrine, wander around until you find the alcove the Crystal Soul belongs in, and you'll put it there. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
