Dikiyoba knows that, but Dikiyoba is Tyranicus's official typo finder, not Dintiradan's. Dintiradan is responsible for catching his own mistakes. [ Tuesday, January 02, 2007 19:36: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Apparently there is some confusion, since Robinator posted the morning of the twenty-ninth on the first post of this topic. But he was executed on the 30th. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Maybe we're supposed to give serious answers this time. Dikiyoba has a serious resolution, but it's just personal enough that Dikiyoba doesn't want to share it. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

1. Yes, he has them all, except for a handful that were lost. 2. No, I don't think he ever posts that list. 3. The answer to the next Alorael-related question is the cheap sticker incident involving the needle/ferrets. Dikiyoba isn't entirely certain what the next question will be, but the cheap sticker incident explains so much that it will cover it one way or another. thedudealex--feel free to edit your posts. That will help keep the confusion down. 1. I prefer the Geneforge series by a narrow margin, but A2 is my favorite game by far. 2. It could go either way. I just hope we get a new, original series soon (relatively speaking), instead of dragging the series on. 3. Since I found the A2 demo. I have no idea when that was, but it was probably some time after its release since I found it on an older CD. 4. Dikiyoba started playing on a Mac and then Dikiyoba switched over to a PC. Do you have to do that every time something spammy comes up, Dintiradan? Why can't you just grumble and add the necessary names to your list of people who will die especially painful deaths when you take over the world? Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Garrison: quote:Has it only been that long? I thought it was two or three months at least. Dikiyoba thinks the biggest flaw in Emperor Tullegolar's plan is that it only covers how he'll maintain control with an army and canister factories. It says nothing about how he'll get them in the first place. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Slartucker: quote:He's not trapped. He's just totally unwilling to leave. All he wants is Trajkov dead and the power of the Geneforge for himself, so he's not going to attempt an escape. He seems confident about getting off the island eventually, though, since he orders your character to take the last boat and get off of the island so he can use the Geneforge without interference. It still doesn't prove that Goettsch became Monarch, it just doesn't rule it out. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

All it would take is blocking the party from entering the bandit camp without help. An "Up ahead, you see an army of barbaric sliths. There are far too many for you too take on alone. You should return to Thassaka and get help." or something similar would do nicely. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Ooh, I got hit by that one too. You have a save game before the fight, right? Go into the advanced features of the character editor and set SDF (44,7) to 1. Then leave the tower and reenter the slith camp. You should be able to move on normally from there. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Robinator: quote:Eh, I'm still hopeful that it has to be better (in fact, one of the best), simply by being the concluding book. Dikiyoba thinks that because Dikiyoba likes the first and fourth books best. The first one introduces the series (when it was new and interesting) and big things happen in the fourth book. The others are just filler. But the final book can't be all filler, right? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Seeing as how many people first found Spiderweb games on game CDs, it would make sense to continue doing so unless something fundamental has changed with either game CDs or where people find their games. Dikiyoba first found Spiderweb on a game CD as well, though it was Avernum and not Exile. Edit: Typo. Until the drayks, ur-glaahks, and other creations go rogue and attack their masters because they learned how to make creations through canisters without learning how to control them. That's what brought the Barzites down. Dikiyoba. Edit: Typo. [ Friday, December 29, 2006 15:08: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
