It's work for no payoff, so no thank you.

Besides, Dikiyoba thinks most of them are ugly.

What doesn't work: uploading pictures, or getting them to display in your post?

Dikiyoba is highly entertained by the fact that the servile is French, by the way.

First you have to upload your picture at an image hosting site like TinyPic. Then, when you go to post a reply, click on the image button and enter the URL for the picture.

What is this? Dikiyoba didn't understand Arancaytar's plan to become the oldest oldbie before, and Dikiyoba understands it even less now.

Good to have you, minion, er, loyal follower. If the Geneforge Forum was still around, I'd have you post a sandwich there to prove your faith, but it isn't, so we'll just skip that.

Instead, Dikiyoba promotes you to rank of Person-who-will-throw-self-on-grenade-if-one-happens-to-land-near-Dikiyoba. Your job is to throw yourself on any grenades that come Dikiyoba's way. And, um, look menacing while doing so.

That's actually something that bothers me as well. It's kinda annoying but it doesn't hurt and isnt really even enough to make you cringe.
It depends on the person. I bet it really does bother some people that much.

Dikiyoba doesn't mind screechy chalk, but Dikiyoba onced worked on a project near a bathroom with really loud hand dryers. They didn't bother anyone else, but they disturbed Dikiyoba so much Dikiyoba winced and ground Dikiyoba's teeth together every time one came on.

Historically, alchemy doesn't seem too weird. The scientific method is relatively recent, after all, and people had to start somewhere. People who still practice it today fall into the weird category, though. (And Emperor Tullegolar only proves my point.)

Dikiyoba loves the fact that the spray paint and foil are just sitting on the counter in that cartoon.

Once or twice I've seen images (and that's how I know you're not all lying :P ), but most of the time I can't see anything special.

Dikiyoba would probably be better at it if Dikiyoba practiced more, but Dikiyoba never found them all that fascinating.

Have the tutorial be an optional section or make an option to turn it off. Getting hit by all the dialog boxes that tell me how to equip my armor and cast spells more than once is unnecessary.

Dikiyoba sees Bovine Thud more like X's anvil spell, except with a cave cow falling out of the sky onto people instead of an anvil.

Or the vahnatai. They're always described as having spells too complicated for other races (or at least the adventurers of other races) to learn, so it would be nice for them to cast those spells once in a while.

It was the GIFTS. They were afraid they were going to lose their status as the most loved and despised creatures in Avernum, so they killed her.

Not really. That question comes up a lot. Jeff said no somewhere (probably multiple somewheres), so we're stuck with that answer unless he changes his mind. For the record, Jeff also said no more Rentar.

A2 did a really good job of opening up a new area of the caves: of course we didn't know about the route to vahnatai lands, because it was opened via a cavequake. I hope that some similarly reasonable explanation will be included in A5.
Here's something Dikiyoba is wondering. Dark Waters of A2 and Exodus both follow a river full of waterfalls downstream. How do people ever travel upstream?
