Is that a mace or a censer? I guess it could be either, which just makes the image cooler. *stores*

I created a high-powered cannon out of a drumstick and a piece of metal pipe/drum equipment. All you had to do was flick it and it would dent whiteboards.

Then I set up a catapult using one of those thingies which you tap with your foot on when you're on a drum set.

Finally, I made a stink-bomb out of a can of Axe (I believe the English call it Lynx) which I was able to rig to constantly fume.

I suspect you're playing as the Celts. Tool Use is not available to them at that time. Instead, increase resistance to physical damage. Luck should also be a godsend.

It doesn't make any sense for the entire area to go hostile.

Oh, okay. So Slithzerkai are just a Vogelian twist on the old, obscure hat which is the lizard-man. I was under the impression that the lizard-men themselves were thought up by Jeff because I've read people's posts wherein they mention that Jeff excluded things such as Elves and Dwarves and included original things such as Sliths and Nephils.

It's not that I don't believe or trust you, but I can't find this. Then again, I couldn't really think of anywhere else on their site where this information could be found.

Sliths on Abandoned Realms.
quote:
A sentient race of humanoid lizardmen...
It's almost impossible that these people came up with a name and similar race independently. Since Abandoned Realms kicked off on 2/07/06, I'm pretty certain that Jeff has the evidence on his side. These sliths are, however, slightly different. They can only be of the warrior class. Their history is also completely unrelated to that of the Vogelian sliths.

So, two questions:
1) Is it legal to take a creation, change it slightly but not entirely, and then make no mention of the original conciever?
2) Is SpidWeb letting these people use its creation?

Will you please change that statement.

Sorry if I offended anyone. I have edited my post.

It is a perfectly good statement. It's obvious that the meaning was not "Yet the members of one religion hate the members of the other" because that's obviously not true. It should be read as "Yet certain members of these religions hate members of the other". This is a valid opinion and perfectly innocent. It should not have been removed.

Shaper or Rebel? in Geneforge Series
Agent

You should obviously only play as a Loyalist because then you limit yourself to about 6/10 of the game. But I don't even stop there; I have a plan for every option in the game, every choice to make! And if I stray one foot off my path, I punish myself ritually.

Every single time I play G3, I play a Loyalist Shaper with 2 in Mechanics and 3 in Leadership. I create a Fyora as soon as possible. When I can create Artillas, I reabsorb the Fyora and create two Artillas. I pick up every set of Dried Herbs on the island. I also gather crystals; because I've done this over and over again, I now know that there are exactly 203 minor crystals on the first island and 26 valuable crystals. If there are less than 229 crystals present, I punch myself in the balls and say a Hail Mary.

During this time, I assign ten skill points to mechanics, sixteen to leadership, thirteen to Fire Shaping, six to intelligence, and eighteen to Magic Shaping.

If anyone would like to see the rest of my notes, please PM me.

In GF3, is there any reason to sink points into Fire or Battle Shaping? in Geneforge Series

I think Jeff is taking his inspiration for creation trees straight out of the Key of Solomon. For what reason would Fire skill give you the ability to make Ice creatures? Or Magic the ability to make Acid creatures?

I wish that, in G4, we would see some sort of logical system where more Fire skill lets you make better Fire creations.

He has yet to hold anything I've done against him against me provided that I'm genuinly sorry. And he offers all who follow him a better future. The only hard thing he asks of people can be summed up as not being full of pride. He also would rather see people who hate him become his people so he can forgive them and bring them the benefits that he offers.

And his ways are those of selflessly helping others and not holding offenses against people. Also with him there is no favoritism and no discrimination. A nice guy at least.

Okay, so you think your religion is better because your God is loving and caring and all that? So then what about all the other religions with benevolent gods? What does your religion have that none of the others have that sets it apart from those religions?

If you've gone to each location and there aren't any there, you probably missed the one hidden behind a secret passage. It's in either the Tower or Guardpost, I don't remember which.

I am of the opinion that Infernal was offended by the lack of intelligence which was displayed when the post was made. It had nothing to do with the thread, contained nothing but evangelical catchphrases, and was patronizing to people who almost certainly know more about GremlinJoe's religion (regardless of which one it is) than he/she does him/herself.

Now, if GremlinJoe could explain why the religion he/she follows is so great (btw, "Because it has God" is not a suitable answer), then this thread could return to its intended topic. Or someone could add to the discussion about the spoken and written ancient languages. Either way, I hope this ends soon.
