I tried joining the rebels and got as far as the mission to kill the commander in the hidden outpost. I wiped it out exept the room with incredible tough doors {not magicaly locked 200 strenth}. I'm taking it he's in there but how to get in? And out the closed porcullis at the start? though the answer is probably in the room.

I believe there's a secret passage that you missed. In fact, if I recall, there's a dying prisoner in the NW torture cells who tells you about it.

There is a wheel you have to turn. After you kill the commander, start looking through the side rooms. The wheel isn't in a secret passage, but it is in an out-of-the-way location.

Er... yeah. Glad to see someone caught on.

Obviously I didn't teach him enough about triple posting and the edit button.
