Rakshasa are immune to Fire, Ice, and Magic damage. They also manage to cut down just about every melee creature, so go for it if you find one.

Demon Golems are like Demons, but without the weakness for Repel Spirit and Ice, if I'm not mistaken.

Liches aren't that great. They're undead (and so resistant to ice) but they're also vulnerable to Repel Spirit. The only thing going for them is their higher spell levels, I think.

You can learn Cloud of Blades L3 in Blackcrag, according to my hintbook.

EDIT: I thought you could get Cloud of Blades L3 from a Stone Circle, but it would seem you cannot.

It depends on where you stand in the religious world. Seventh-Day Adventists might say that Catholics have their facts mixed up, but both believe they're right.

I really can't tell what religious system Old Scratch is using as his basis of "truth" and so prefer to not ask any questions or claim that he's wrong. He may be able to prove that he is right, but only if you concede that, for example, Christianity is right and true in all things.

I happen, by the way, to be much more interested in the Angels and Demons of a religion than the actual religion.

It's not as if you have to do something bad to lose reputation; this could be interpreted as the Church spreading bad rumors about you, for example.

You forgot "Prince of the Air", Old Scratch. And I think Old Scratch may have been oversimplifying for the sake of the less informed readers.

Different starting areas would be cool and not that hard to do.

Let's see, a type of new creation... Well, being able to Shape Serviles would be interesting as long as I can give them weapons. Maybe Fire Creations could get some sort of heavy melee creature that explodes, like a useful Pyroroamer. And Magic Creations could get a creature that charms its enemies. The Battle Creations could get some sort of slow-moving seige engine late in the game.

I want a Light spell, yo. And possibly some sort of Healing spell that drains HP from my allies. I enjoy kicking the dog. Maybe some sort of spell that chains damage around, like Lightning Chain in W3.

The Sholai should definitely be in G4. Jeff set himself up for a good, interesting plot when he needed a villain in G1. I haven't played G2, but I don't recall there being much Sholai action. So the Sholai are unused, while they should be the main players.

I just wish that for once Jeff wouldn't stick in three or so mines. It gets kind of old after a while.

A search for "ill sick" yields three threads, two of which answer the question. I found these results on my second try, after narrowing down my terms.

Search didn't lead me to Alorael's post; it led me to the thread the post was in.

The search function can save you a lot of time that would be spent waiting for a reply. Not that it did in this case, but still. Self-reliance and all that. Makes you a better person.

It's easily accessible if you can get into the Library. It's up in the NW corner.

EDIT: And yes, the Library is blocked by a glowing portuculis.

Hmm, I never really thought of it as cheating... In fact, it seems somewhat logical... When the main character equips a certain magical item, magical powers pour into his/her mind and tell him/her how to to make a drayk, then when it is taken off, the main character suddenly has amnesia and can't remember how he/she did it. Or maybe the main character just needs this item as power enhancement, whatever. Anyway, since the creation was fully made, it doesn't disappear when the item is taken off.
Yes, I know this may sound lame. But seriously, I think it's part of the gameplay.

The above was written by The Lurker.

The above was written by llama in response.

llama never said anything about the gameplay. The Lurker did, but llama messed up the quotes and attributed the writing to himself. Luckily, it's not that bad because most people would have already read what llama misquoted and noticed that llama misquoted.

To whatever it is he wants to link to, possibly? If so, do the following.

1) Click "post reply" to start composing your post.
2) When ready to create a link, look slightly below the box where you type your post, you should see a dark burgundy border titled "Instant UBB Code™". Right below that is a small grey box titled "URL". Click that.
3) You will be prompted to enter the address of the page you want to link to. Do so and click "OK".
4) Enter the words you would like the link displayed as and click "OK".

For more information, see here.

In addition to preaching correct spelling, you are also preaching correct grammar and correct language in general.

llama's name is perfectly fine. He chose to make his name an exception to the rules of capitalization, and so that exception still applies. Also, right now there is only one inconsistency, that being between llama's name and everyone else's. Capitalizing the name in some places but not others would add inconsistency.

This is what it should say:
"What is better?"
or[5-add:,] more accurately:
"Which is better[6-add:?]"

Besides[7-remove:, as well as] pleasing me, the others might lay off a bit.

Magma[8-add: ][8-change:d]Drago[8-add:o]n, you deserved this for your messed[9-add:-]up corrections. What goes around [10-remove:,] comes around, to use an ancient saying.

- Archmagus Micael

This is how I would have fixed the post.

1-This is a board based in America. American English is the default language for the spoken and written word. Since this board is not specified as being something other than the default, it is assumed that on this board the default (American English) is written.

2-"do me a favor", "edit your first post", and "fix the spellings" all apply to the same idea. When simply joined by an "and" the meaning changes to them applying to different actions. When used with an incorrectly placed comma, things become worse.

Sadly, I cannot think of a way to join "edit your first post" and "fix the spellings" in a more prescise way than I did.

3-I know it's cool to use grammar like this, but it's still wrong. We're only talking about one instance of "spelling" mistakes here, not infinitive instances of mistakes.

4-Again: I know it's the new thing to leave off direct objects, but it's not popular enough to constitute an entire change in correct language structure.

5-Unsure here why I'm correct, but I'm pretty sure I am.

6-Parallel structure of sentences mandates actual parallel structure.

7-Multiple prepositions are ugly. I suppose this is fine gramatically but it's still better off this way.

8-"Magma Dragoon" is the correct form.

9-"up" and "messed" both make no sense as seperate modifiers, but the modifier "messed-up" makes perfect sense.

10-There is no pause symbolized by a comma, so the comma shouldn't be there.

1. "Wrong" is an adjective, while "incorrectly" is an adverb. 2. Independent sentences shouldn't be joined together by a comma alone. You also need a preposition.

My turn. :P

FYT: I am sorry if I have spelt anything incorrectly, as I'm not a good speller.

EDIT: How could I forget the "FYT"?

If you took three lessons in elementary school and now, five years later, can play a major scale in the same octave and with a steady pitch, can you play?

I also play the piano, which seems to be very popular, and the clarinet and sax, which probably helped me play the recorder.

I think the Wyms breathe darkness (magic). I remember that they use the acid damage sound and graphic, but I don't think they actually give the acid-coated status effect. They give enfeebling instead, right?

I suggest invulnerability if the fight is troubling you, but that doesn't necessarily mean Invulnerability Potions (read as: what Neimand said).

Okay, try this. First of all, save. Then bring up the cheat code window (Hold "Shift" and "D" at the same time). Then enter "sdf 18 24 1" without quotes and click the check mark. Do the same for "sdf 27 6 0". Then go to Darnor and see if you can progress with the quest now.

General Advice:
If you still have the Alien Slime, lose it. The creature is pathetic. Maybe replace it with a Giant Slug?

Drakes, Demons, and Ogre Mages serve about the same purpose. Rather than having more than one slot used for basically the same creature, you may want to just keep one of the fire-immune (Demon/Drake) creatures and get something good at taking melee damage (Golem/Dervish)

Basilisks are actually pretty weak. You'll probably want to pick up an Ur-Basilisk as soon as possible; I don't remember for sure, but I think the higher SP cost is worth it.
