Okay, let's pretend that you already admitted to being Ed, who was banned from these forums. Now, I must ask you: why did you come back, and why did you not learn? You might want to hold off on registering Nethergate, because Jeff seems to be doing some sort of restoration on it. He has promised some sort of OS change, new content, and maybe some other things. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

I throw a shotput. That's right. A big metal ball. 12 pounds, three times. But you wouldn't believe the training that we do just to gain half a foot. I also used to do Karate, but gave it up. Then again, it seems to have helped my twitch speeds and pivoting skills for shotput. So I'm overall happy I took it up, even though I quit. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

What did you do last night? —Played KOTOR II then practiced my shot-putting technique. The last thing you downloaded onto your computer? -Ad-Aware SE Personal, an anti-spyware program which finally removed the damn popup programs. Have you ever licked a 9 volt battery? -It's possible. I know for sure I've licked smaller batteries. Type of music you dislike most? —None. Don't care about any of it. Are you registered to vote? —Too young. Ever made a prank phone call? —Often. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? —No. Furthest place you ever traveled? —Iran. What's your favorite comic strip? —VG Cats. Best movie you've seen in the past month? —I don't remember, but I suspect that I have not seen any movies at all in the last month. Favorite chocolate bar? —Hersheys. Have you ever won a trophy? —The one trophy I can definitely witness to is the winning of an award for second place in a Martial Arts tournament back in, oh, say, 1998. Favorite arcade game? —The one with the ship that spins around and shoots at asteroids. Speaking of which, can anyone find a link for that game? Ever thrown up in public? —Yes, on a Lufthansa plane. The passengers were just leaving after a rather quick landing, wherein we descended much more quickly than I was used to. I couldn't even get to the little bag they provide you because the aisles were so crowded. Instead, the woman directly in front of me tackled her way through the crowd in the aisles to the bathroom because she was so grossed out. Would you prefer being a millionaire or finding true love? -Depends on when. Twenty years from now? A hundred? If you had to spend a romantic evening with any sw member, who would you pick? —I cannot decide. Do you believe in love at first sight? —No. Who do you think about most? —I don't think about people. Which celebrity do you think is hot, both female and male? —I don't care. What's the worst medical problem you've ever had? —This isn't all that bad because I'm too young to have had really bad medical problems, but I will answer anyway. My allergies. What's your favorite sitcom? —"The War at Home", currently. Hottest sw male —Don't care. But Salmon does have those huge pecs... Last computer/video game you played —KOTOR II. Last movie you rented —I don't rent movies. Would you rather dump someone or be dumped? —Dump someone. Which sw member has the dirties mind? —Just going by the comments that I have read, I think that Slartucker might be the one. Have you ever kissed someone and regretted it? No. [ Sunday, May 21, 2006 14:30: Message edited by: Mexican Revolt 06 ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Since everyone else has jumped in, I'll just argue about the one part which concerns me. quote:You only typed one sentence and I've already found the meaning hard to understand. Are you saying that belief in "chance" as opposed to God is religious? Okay, I can handle that. But the problem is that "chance" has nothing to do with my quoted post. It is not luck or chance that a stronger person can defeat a weaker one. So unless you're seeing things or can show me something in my post that I missed, I'll have to conclude that the idea I tried to communicate in my post was lost on you despite my best intentions. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

I hope that tackling this idea from a new angle might introduce new ideas and arguments to an old subject, that of religion. This can only get started when a person who feels strongly about their religion and thinks they can defend it comes along. So, arrogant and religious person, why do you think that your religion is better than the other ones out there? [ June 04, 2006, 05:03 PM: Message edited by: The][Editbreaker ] [ Sunday, June 04, 2006 15:05: Message edited by: The][Editbreaker ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Why not hide everything? Then everyone would have to read each post to examine it for quality. We would finally have a fair system, where everyone has an equal voice! There would be no more elitism, no more ignoring people just because of their member number! Oh, wait. That sucks. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

quote:So you're rejecting the theory/"hypothises"/whatever simply because it contradicts your religious beliefs? Wow. What if I were to rephrase the offending statement as, "Come on you people should be able to distort a distorted theory wherein the stronger force the weaker to use their language."? There's absolutely no religion in there, and that's probably what the writer would have written had it not been simpler to liken the "theory" to that of Natural Selection. That is, of course, unless you believe in a religion which has a Creation story and which contradicts the theory of Natural Selection and also believe that the strong cannot influence the weak. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

If the exit is already open, you should be able to go through the secret door by now. It doesn't have to be crumbled, and I think the only area acessible from behind the throne is the button-place thingy. The secret door to the boss is to the right of the Ghast/Throne room. I suppose, if wallbanging doesn't get you results, you could try Shatter. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Coincidentally, my statement about finding humor in suffering also applies to the reason for the reversal of the letters. The reason they're backwards is that's how the words come on the Geneforge 2 Support Page. [ May 10, 2006, 08:15 PM: Message edited by: URL=hotmail.com]Hot Male [ Thursday, May 11, 2006 19:54: Message edited by: URL=hotmail.com]Hot Male -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |
