Yeah, I read it for my English Lit assignment this term. Got an A for comparing it to Brave New World.

I felt the ending was awesome.

The part I enjoyed most was the bit where he
explained how he "killed" his mother.
Other than that, the book over-exaggerated some bits.

I didn't mean use of the account, I only wondered if all accounts that Ash could use were banned.

There's nothing to stop Ash from posting with The Creator except habit, right? It's not like there was a disavowal or something?

Hey, was the account The Creator banned? Because on one hand members who get one account banned usually get all accounts banned, but on the other The Creator has semi-mod status.

Until I checked your post, I didn't believe such a thing as an "egret" could possibly exist, much less be in a state of murkiness. My misinterpretation was a result of my lack of knowledge concerning egrets.

I see you got my PM.

Since no one has directly stated this, I'll take it upon myself. SpidWeb is not the place to perpetuate a vendetta against TM. It would be better if you stopped making comments such as the ones in this thread. Everyone is currently ignoring you when you make comments like that, so there's no point.

Also, "Homie" and "Home boy" refer to someone who lives in or frequents your neighborhood.

There's more than one god in the Exile/Avernum games. They also don't seem to exclude each other by existing, despite the fact that none of the gods are counterparts to the others. Maybe gods in Exile/Avernum exist simply because they have followers?

For example, an Anama priest probably doesn't pray to the same god as a member of the Divine Lucre, but they both use the same spells. There's nothing in the Anama religion (as far as I know) about the god of the Divine Lucre, and reverse that for the religion of the Divine Lucre.

Whoah... that's strange.

I suspect it's a Pokemon. And the other image wasn't painful either, just kinky.

I've had a dog, and I think I now prefer cats. Even though I've never had one. They're just more respectable in my eyes.

In some fantasy settings, kobolds are doglike. I don't know if there are too many people who really wish they were kobolds, though.

There are few dog-races because wolves/werewolves are so much better, if overused.

I got several accounts from MSN.com, some of which I really didn't need. It was either them or Hotmail which then deleted some of my addresses for inactivity.

As for using the character editor, I don't play that way. But anyway the spreadsheet is meant to be interactive - so you configure it for your actual party at the current moment to decide which spell is currently most efficient to use. In the excel version (sorry) the white cells are editable, so you can select which level you wish to compare. I think the version I uploaded had been configured for a party that was just starting chapter 4.

Yeah... Um, I didn't notice that anything at all in the spreadsheet was changeable...

\/ To Micawber: No, what I meant was that I did not think to check if I could modify any values in the spreadsheet.

If I my assumtion that Sir david is Lady Davida, then the answer is no. Okay, he too was probably as amazed and surprised and confused as I was, but he didn't ask what what the purpose of this whole world is. Only what the topic is for.

It's not actually clear whether you are asking in your first post about the purpose of this topic or the purpose of this creation of a world.

Elves were popularized by Tolkien. They wouldn't be a fantasy staple if not for Tolkien. So every time you use elves, you steal from him.

Finally, arghhhhhhhhh, no one will want to read 462 pages of badly written notes. Especially if their end product is done in the same style.

It's not about plagarism and legallity, it's about the fact that Jeff (as far as I've heard, which is admittedly not so substantial) refuses to use plots sent to him.

Couldn't you have just used the Character Editor to give yourslef three ranks in each spell, thereby bringing the spells closer to the same level? Also, Cloud of Blades really cannot be compared to any other spell. Cloud of Blades does weapon damage, while the other spells do magic/ice/fire damage.

This is the best idea in the thread. Alright everyone, come up with the most predictable, tried plot you can for A5/G4. Monster plagues, spawners, undead lords; spam JV for all you can! With hope and luck, he'll be prevented from creating the pathetic plot he so desperately wants to use.

You can probably make the undead stop spawning by killing Zkal the Lich in the Tower of Zkal.

Most scenarios that I've played don't care about race, apart from Bahs ofcourse. And changing the picture doesn't really make a difference to the game - does it? It just reads the char's race, not their picture.

- Archmagus Micael

You have not played the scenario.

Mad Ambition does not check that the party is human; it assumes so and gives a warning at the beginning of the scenario that if you have any non-human characters, they will still be treated as human in the text of the game.

\/ To Thralni: my post was not directed at you. Not only would it not have made sense if directed at you (because it was already established that you have played the scenario), I could have simply quoted your original post rather than Micael's.
