Actually the most interesting spelling error I ever saw on these forums was when someone on the Nethergate forum spelled Celts as "Cretecs." A lot of people had no idea what they were talking about until someone figured it out.

It seems that the amazing Thuryl was the one to break the code in this thread. Is there anything he can't do? :P

Thuryl's links are files, not web pages. Click "save as" on Windows to use them. I don't know or care how Mac users do it.

Well, you know, there'd be absolutely no evidence of Drakefyre's post being the last one because that post would probably be deleted before anyone could see it. So the last post which can be testified to exist can be considered the last post.

And come on, people! Pledge your support for this forum! Show how much it means to you!

You do know we aren't capable of reading your mind, right? We may be able to do some other freaky stuff, but mind-reading was right out when we negotiated for our powers.

Just a helpful reminder, people: do NOT post in this forum. If you truly want to show your dedication to the cause, post to say you will do everything in your power to keep this forum alive.

If Jeff makes it possible for the PC to kill Ghaldring in a straight fight (and that is very likely, by the way), it'll probably be a typical endgame fight. Nothing special, no incredibly difficult fight. Just a straight bout of combat. I know he'll do this because in all my SpidWeb experience, he's never once made something impossibly difficult and meant for people to accomplish it.

You know what, I cleared the cache while I was changing the pop-up and java settings. That must have been the problem, and explains why I would see 343 graphics instead of 346.

Not in the nine... Since when does Jeff do work for the sake of assisting designers?

Jeff only provided the source code for the BoA Editor. Or some such silliness.

That's odd. I stopped blocking popups from personal.psu.edu and indeed, the number of records jumped from 343 to 346.

I still want to know why unblocking popups would work, even if my problem's been solved.

The graphics aren't showing up for me. When I follow the link in Brett's sig, I get a Lourve which claims to only have 343 graphics. Is there some sort of secret Lourve no one's telling me about?

No luck here, either.
It leved up the party? Sounds slightly suspicious, to say the least...

Also, does clear_town() have a BoE equivalent? If so, is that call known to be buggy?

Finally, maybe it has to be called from a special script or state? Maybe a creature script or the INIT_STATE, just to give examples.

The docs are just there to make you suffer. Ripping off someone else's code is much easier and less buggy.

In the past three years I've had e-mail adresses, I've gotten about two of these messages. Having such an obscure name is quite beneficial.

I don't mean deletion of your own account, but of one which is tying up a PDN you'd like.

Deletion by request would be much more efficient, you know. It's not about reducing space, it's about freeing up PDNs. Obviously, there'd have to be criteria. Maybe inactivity for one year or so.

What exactly was the "Xian Skull" topic about, anyway? All I can infer and glean is that it was totally awesome, but no one seems to really be able to describe what made it so.

Yay! For once, they aren't the archvillains! Maybe you could make it seem like they were the antagonsists and then change it around suddenly, by presenting the true enemy? You could mock A3 (and, from what I hear, A4), UV, and all the other games with them as the antagonists.
