quote:Wait, are you calling me a newb? No, of course you aren't, cause I've been here for four years, and I would be extremely offended at being called a newb because of my low post count. You see, post counts don't decide if a person is newb or n00b not. Grammar does. :P Truly experienced posters know that grammar is vital for survival in the spiderweb forums! ;) -------------------- -Step aside, worthy adversary! -T'is but a scratch! -A scratch! Three and a half years, actually. But you have still been here one year longer than me, so why have I got 75 more posts than you? Posts: 587 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2003 08:00 |

I get college spam. You'd think after e-mailing me a dozen times with no response, I'm not interesting in attending that college. Sometimes I'd check my e-mail (which I only do once a week, so its less impressive) and there would be forty e-mails from various colleges all trying to give me stuff and trying to lead me to their website. At least it's down to a trickle. Dikiyoba. ----------------------- Those who profess to be our friends want something from us. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

In the past three years I've had e-mail adresses, I've gotten about two of these messages. Having such an obscure name is quite beneficial. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Dikiyoba agrees with Not Why. Most of Dikiyoba's scams and glurges comes directly from Dikiyoba's friend, who has Dikiyoba's e-mail address. And Dikiyoba thought the friend was trustworthy... Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Sadly, there are currently 180 emails in my Gmail spam box, three of which I moved there from my inbox. I can see five, maybe six if you really want to nitpick. —Alorael, who suspects that the typos in most spam are part of an insidious plot. When there's clear writing in spam, you may take an extra second or two to realize that it is spam. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I counted 'got' and 'to as two typos. Maybe that is where I got the extra one. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |
