Keep in mind that's the inflation-indexed Federal Reserve interest rate, not the kind of rate an average borrower will get on a credit card or even a home loan. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

"Ternary" is preferred, but both "ternary" and "trinary" are correct. "Tertiary" is also occasionally used. [ Tuesday, May 03, 2005 20:06: Message edited by: Thuryl ] -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Well, having said that, there's a distinction between challenge and tedium. But at least Avernum and Geneforge handle dropped items better than Exile, where anything you left behind in most places was lost forever. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Why not just pretend you already won? Then you don't have to play the game at all. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Not a problem at all. Many people play a "deadweight Shaper" throughout the whole game -- he keeps out of the way while his creations do all the fighting. As long as you keep your shaping skills high, you'll do fine. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Well, I'll grant that so far as scale goes, that's pretty damn impressive. (What is it with the ancients and creepy semi-metaphorical sexual liaisons between gods leading to unfortunate results, anyway?) -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! If I recall correctly, the password is "calamity". But it isn't important; giving the wrong password to those undead means you have to fight them, but it won't make Morog hostile. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! This is a fault with UBB, the bulletin board system used for SW's forums. It's among the worst forum systems at keeping track of new posts, but for technical reasons it's the system SW has decided is most appropriate overall. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! When you post just to agree with something somebody else has already said, that's spam. When you make a one-line post that gives no new information, that's spam. When you post just for the sake of posting, that's spam. Don't do it. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

There's no call to detect class, and class isn't actually very informative anyway, because the way BoA calculates it is pretty wacky. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

This is an oddity of the BoA engine that's triggered if the values of any statistics raise above a certain level. Please post what your party's stats were before the error happened. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Indigenous Australian tribes didn't really associate with each other on the same scale as native Americans. Even for those communities which may have had words to express the concept of the world as a whole, I doubt that different groups would have talked about it in the same way. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
