Not really. The best you'll get is a choice between which painful dungeon to visit. Most people here don't like ZKR much at all. -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

Bah, it makes you rush a bit too much, IMO. Also, I have a question: where do you get the key which opens the door in the place with a loose ceiling? Posts: 17 | Registered: Tuesday, May 3 2005 07:00 |

Sorry M. Anderson so that I don't answer your question but I have another one, what was to answer to the undead from Morog's Valley ? I've tried : Love, Jeff Vogel and Turnips before entering Morog's chamber. It didn't work. Posts: 31 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

If I recall correctly, the password is "calamity". But it isn't important; giving the wrong password to those undead means you have to fight them, but it won't make Morog hostile. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Near the end, it's where if you have enough Nature Lore it says "Paraphrasish ceiling is loose but you're uber enough to avoid it with your 1337 tree-hugging skillz" and if it's not enough "OMGz rox fall on u u r pwnd" and at the end of one passage it's a cave door sprite, like the mines in Avernum 2, aand it says you need a key to get in. And 'Calamity' is found on an obelisk on the floor under, I think. It's somewhere near the maze or somewhere. Can't remember. On a side note, the board's acting up for me. Two UBB buttons are blocked by Quote and List-End. One ends with M. Posts: 17 | Registered: Tuesday, May 3 2005 07:00 |

Koth's palace sucks. Boring. How can you escape, or at least meet the lizard ? [ Wednesday, May 04, 2005 04:32: Message edited by: stick of death ] Posts: 31 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Hm... Khoth's palace? I thought you could just wait for the beams to shut off, then run for it (doing this in combat mode works perfectly). In fact, I can't think of anything you'd need to blow up, except maybe the generators (which you can just run past) or the efreet (which a mildly skilled, blessed archer can take down easily). -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. use move mountains on that stone pillar/boulder in the corner. that's all i do every time i go through zkr. just go into combat mode(singleton) and run through the beams/wait for them to go down. i kinda like zkr though, but i just run through it for the knowledge brews now, and i skip all the extra stuff Posts: 15 | Registered: Thursday, November 7 2002 08:00 |

If you're just after the loot, why not go through the HLPM and be done with it? -------------------- SupaNik: Aran, you're not big enough to threaten Ash. Dammit, even JV had to think twice. Posts: 1861 | Registered: Friday, February 11 2005 08:00 |

eh, im sorta doing this character without 'cheating' (although, i guess thats a realtive term) besides, the only scenario i can gain exp from is the bahsikava one, im a point short of lvl 80, and ran through like 6 scenarios (mostly crescent valley and zkr) and am still a point away:) Posts: 15 | Registered: Thursday, November 7 2002 08:00 |

Sounds like you need to make your own scenario. Or possibly go through a fight or two in the HLPM's arena. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. hmm... perhaps. mebbe after this semester is over, ive got an idea for a small scenario, but ill have to figure out how to keep the combat to a minimum, but still have it challenging w/out being overly annoying/tedius. and come to think of it, i dont believe i have used the arena... might have to try that then....
