We know this by now. I believe it has been posted here before, and if not, something similar has. Benedict actually does have a real brother, Georg, who was incredibly shocked at his brother's appointment because of his poor health. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy desperance.net - We're Everywhere ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! There was a Borgia pope (or two?). Isaac Newton seriously thought the pope was the antichrist. Comparing Benedict XVI to a movie bad guy is a tad bland, because see: the man is THE POPE! -------------------- It is not enough to discover how things seem to seem. I don't see any point in comparing the pope to a hideous whateveritis. That said, I do think ADoS looks good in a pope suit, but he's not the pope after all. Too wrinkled hands for a young boy. :P -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

It is the face of the Giver, of course. I believe the correct name is Pope Donatus XVI. I want 10,000 posts soon, but you don't see me reviving every topic that ever was, do you? —Alorael, who might give that a try sometime. It would certainly be different and it would get lots of attention. It would also make him go out with a bang, or perhaps a blam-thud. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I know what you mean, SS. It's an uncontrollable frantic search for something to post, isn't it? :P Also, I think Alo should get a custom title when he gets to 10,000, or maybe a general title should be made for someone with 10k+ posts. So If Benedict XVI is the Phantom Menace and he will destroy the venerable Catholic Church, what are the Clone he is going to use? Is it going to be an army of choir boys? What role will the pedophile priests play in all this? I wonder who is Benedict's favored pupil that he will turn to the Dark Side? Since we don't have light sabers, I guess they'll have to fight with something else. I'd love to see a huge fight in St. Peter's with that big incense thingy whose name evades me now. Do they take special communion before they go into battle? And are hostias different for the Dark Side folks? I bet the wine is. Strongen and darker. Of course you all know this means Benedict will be killed by the son of his pupil and everything in the end will be about an army of cuddly Teddy Bears. Maybe with Barney as their leader. End of the world indeed. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

We already have titles for spammers; they're not flattering. If you insist on replying in every thread whilst contributing little of value, you may be headed for one. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
