ET - looking to get *i's boot so soon? We're here to enforce the CoC so we can have a reasonable discussion and not flame wars. Even if we think that ET is a power mad fanatic that would destroy the world if his ideas prevailed :) . Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Mine's a random variation of an old nickname. Actually the UBB never accepted my original registration so I changed it when I tried again and never bothered to change it in all this time. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Basically you can't go back from the area below Formello to the last rapid before the river's end without using the character editor to reset the boat. There are certain places to visit that will help you when you reach the river's end. I found on replaying that you can figure out the minimum amount of items to take down river so you have inventory slots for most items. Eventually you make a judgement call on what's most valuable and figure out what's cursed. Any way you can't take it all with you. So be sure to visit the Vahnatai sleeping chambers and pay your respects as you go downstream. There are two bodies in the second level room and you need to stand on the farther one to get the satchel. The other possibility is that you have to enter the room with the Commander to get a special dialog box. Talking to him from outside the room doesn't work. Canister usage problems vary during the game. But this looks like some one that wants to play totally no canister. That really limits the high end creations. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Khyshakks are the other alternative at this point to provide some meat shields. Not as good offensively since lightning aura takes a few rounds to work. Still they have enough health to leave them out there on their own with an occasional heal. Still wingbolts are the best since a canisterless game won't let you get the best in fire and magic creation. Cryoas and other creations from the early game keep being frighten and other mind effect spells. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Stealth items are supposed to decreases the radius of the search where they will detect you. So stealth +1 item means you can be one square closer than without the item. Worked real well on mine triggers, until Jeff moved one in the Warded Sea Caves. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Other than BANNED and CANNED, the last one I remember was when Aran got "Man of the People" upon his elevation to mod in General about a year and half ago. I think he had a custom title before that one anyway. There was a major protest from Alorael at not getting a custom title at the time. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

You can't see it on the map, but there are several old places from the previous games. They just hate you because you are Empire and have a pointed way of expressing it. Jeff found that the easiest way to deal with the world is so small now, was to place you in areas where you have no expectations about how big they should be. It's still a small world after all. The major differences come at the end. Loyalists will have slightly different dialog options, but there really isn't as big a difference in game play. Poryphra Ruins when you talk to Shaper Grim is the most interesting one where he talks about what happens after the war. Any servile that doesn't go back under control is to be considered a rogue creation. He feels that serviles should allow themselves to be reabsorbed. I have to agree with Jeff, that A4 was the last game for a torment level singleton that can do everything. *sigh* Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

It's only good when you need all the buffs at once. There are plenty of items available to cast the spell for those few times that you might need it. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |
